Hampton Inn & Suites Laval

Well located, clean, many accommodations (breakfast, indoor pool), near grocery store, pharmacy and fast-food restaurants, within 10 minutes’ drive from major shopping center (Carrefour Laval). Staff is courteous, attentive and helpful.

The hotel accepts pets, which we didn’t know when booking. It turns out the guests next to our room kept 2 dogs barking every time they heard noise (and dogs are perceptive!). We love dogs and did not spend the days in the room, but we did want quiet, relaxing time in the evening and sleeptime. (Fortunately, the staff has been very helpful and did their best to relocate us to another aisle).

The bed was very comfortable and the a/c worked really well. There was a spot for the dog to go to the bathroom and it had bags provided. My dog liked the cookies.

the price was more than expected. I thought I paid for all of it up front through the app, but I received an additional fee upon leaving. Also the dog fee was quite high at 25 a day. I thought the pet fee would be a flat rate or a deposit that could be returned.

We love how clean and comfortable the hotel was. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was definitely the highlight of the hotel.

If you are looking for a hotel that is close to downtown Montreal. This isn't it as the location is about 30 mins plus more with traffic to downtown. We also wish there was more seating area for breakfast. We also wish there was a duvet for out cot which was not included in our room.

We booked this hotel for a second time in the last few years. The reason for This trip was because we had tickets to illumi so loved that it was so close to it. Also were very pleased tbat the pool closes at 11pm gave us plenty of time to enjoy it even after the illumi tour.

I messaged the hotel to get 2 rooms beside each other. The last time the rooms had a connecting door. This time i asked and thaught we were put the same way but were just put on the same floor.

Proximity to reason why we were there but great location to food, Highway access, mall was close enough and it was accessible from main road. Breakfast was included and it was pleasant, staff ensured options were well stocked throughout breakfast time.

One elevator seemed to have some issues and was not running optimally. It would have been nice to have a fridge in our room.

Clean, excellent beds - very comfortable. Nice pool

Excessive charge for the pet. The breakfast was not very good for someone with dairy allergies. A lot of garbage waste with the breakfast. They should have reusable cutlery and plates.

Staff was friendly, the hotel was accessible from the parking lot. It was in a great location that meet our needs. Breakfast included made it easier to plan our day.

The room was a bit dirty and we couldn’t get too comfortable. We had a lot of garbage that we hoped room service would clean but they didn’t stop day.

The bathroom was clean and spacious. They put a shower stool in the bathroom for me. That was a huge help and even brought my own in case the room didn’t have one. The breakfast options were good.

Please upgrade the decaf coffee. It wasn’t okay but not good. Tim Hortons and McDonalds offers much better tasting coffee.

The room was roomy with a fridge. Beds were fresh. Carpets were stained Bathroom was clean. Breakfast was not the best. Fruit was over bruised, apples were more than brushed ran out of potatoes and sausages were soggy. Ended up not eating both days

See above. But all in all a pretty good stay
