Holiday Inn Laval Montreal, an IHG Hotel

The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. The air conditioning worked well. The showers had good water pressure. We did not hear noise from other guests in our room. All in all it was a nice place to stay with kids.

The picture of the swimming pool that is on the hotel website seems a bit misleading. It looked bigger than it was. The water in the pool was a bit cold and the water was not clear. Nonetheless, the kids enjoyed the pool quite a bit. It was open early until 11pm--so lots of time to swim.

Its relatively clean, I found a few hair strands in the bathroom though. Its in a safe area, amazing location just across the street from a nice mall that has almost everything you would need to shop for family back home including a vaccination and a pcr centre. The staff are extremely helpful and nice, it has a working coffee machine which can make hot water and it also has a fridge to store food and drinks.

It is definitely overpriced for the amount of “advancement” that the hotel offers, but I personally feel like the location makes up for it. The worst thing I experienced is noise, although its a very quiet hotel and you dont hear any noise from anyone’s room, in the morning at just 7-8 am, you will start hearing people walking and talking in the hallway and closing their doors constantly which will wake you up.

The restaurant for breakfast Sunday morning very expensive and the bread used for the the toast was very try and hard. The ‘pain dorée’ was one piece and no fruits and very dry. I don’t recommend them for breakfast

the hotel and staff were very courteous & friendly

the distance from the Trudeau airport. it said on Booking.com that it as 12km from the airport. it turned out to be much further and was a $59 cab ride each way.I’ll was fine - distance from Trudeau airport I misleading.

I was exceptionally impressed by the location. Initially it appears as though it’s just off the highway, and there is absolutely nothing… However nothing could be more wrong. Although we were in the middle of Covid, and shopping and full access to restaurants is not possible right now, the selection of excellent restaurants nearby is wonderful. Everybody is available for pick up, that we can’t wait to come back when COVID is over, so we can really experience all that Laval has to offer

No real closing curtain bugged me a lot. In the hallway, you can feel and see the rug doesn't fit properly. Small waves along the way

It's good and clean, hope they kept it more cleaner. The coffee maker was not in working condition. I think they can fix that. I recommend this hotel👌
