Hotel Chateau Bellevue

Amazing location for being a tourist in old Quebec. You really could not beat the convenience of the location. We were there Saturday-Weds and we knew we would unlikely find street parking (especially on the weekend), but it was $25 a day for valet with the hotel, and that was honestly well worth it. Also the bed was probably the most comfortable hotel bed I've slept on in a long time.

the breakfast didn't look very promising but that was ok, as we chose not to pay extra for it. we much preferred to walk to the various local restaurants/bakeries to try coffee and breakfast since they were all a few minutes walk away - so i wouldn't really say that was a bad thing!

this place is great. the staff are very accommodating and willing to assist. the coffee offered is great. location is excellent. literally can’t get better.

well they valet parked my car. somewhere, while the vehicle was in their car, it was scratched up twice. once on the rear bumper, and once on the passenger side door. both look like Parking mistakes. I reported the damage and they were good about it, but management never followed up with me, with insurance info like they said they would. as it was a rental car, I went and fixed the damage prior to returning the car. this could have been dealt with better.

hotel faced a beautiful park. the staff tried very hard when faced with difficult issues. Air conditioner broke down in hotel over weekend when it was 88 degrees out. The staff purchased fans for lobby to keep cool and offered to move us to their sister hotel after dinner. we asked that they put a fan in the room to draw the cool air in (yes, it went from 88 degrees during the day to 60 degrees that night). we used the fan and drawing outside air in made it comfortable. they also subtracted some of our hotel rate from the bill.

rooms were very small. breakfast was not interesting for CA $15 per person. the coffee/tea machine broke and they had to use small coffee machine that kept running out of coffee

We were welcomed by very friendly staff members upon arrival, and had our car parked by one of the young fellows from the reception desk. The rooms and the rest of the hotel were very clean with an inviting nice smell throughout. The location of the hotel was just across a beautiful park in a peaceful area, within walking distance to most important sites to see. Although we did not select breakfast with our reservation, coffee and other drinks were available for free for the hotel guests. Very happy for being able to have our dog allowed in the hotel. On our next trip to Quebec we will definitely consider booking at Chateau Bellevue.

The location was perfect: within easy walking distance of the Citadel, Differin Terrace, the funicular to the lower town, the sights in the upper town, and parliament. The valet parking was excellent; we could see our car behind the hotel from our window and it was brought to the front entrance with minutes. There was coffee and tea available gratis in the lobby at all times.

Very minor: there were signs saying that there was a soda machine in the basement with the ice machine but there wad no soda machine.

The tub/shower had good hot water, fully stocked with supplies and wonderful robes were included. The bed was very comfortable and the drapes kept the room darkened for sleep. The temperature was easy to control. The staff were eager to help and always very pleasant. For a very reasonable charge, we were able to keep our car parked in the hotel lot after checkout for the day. This made shopping and sightseeing easy.

We struggled with the luggage cart in the small elevator getting our things to and from our room. Assistance from staff would have been welcomed.

Booking through booking.com we paid close to $500 per night for 3 nights. First night we were put in a lower level room with no view. Next day my husband asked why we didn't get a room with a view as booking.com said "deluxe room". We were then moved to a wonderful room #201 on the corner with many windows. In hindsight we should have said something immediately but the last two nights accommodation was wonderful.

Front entrance steps are a bit daunting as the door opens out, difficult to use as a senior.

A very clean, comfortable accommodation that is so very affordable and centrally located beside the beautiful Fairmont Le Château Frontenac. Thus accommodation also has parking, which is a bonus fir this part of old Quebec City! Our 2-day stay was made so wonderful having stayed at Hotel Chateau Bellevue, and the staff were all very amazingly helpful and friendly… of special note is Brenson, who was extremely kind and helpful during our check-out!

This hotel has the perfect location to the Old City of Quebec and all the restaurants/shops, friendly staff who spoke both French and English, complimentary juice and coffee bar, and parking service offered for only $25 a night (which was extremely helpful as parking in the city can be difficult).

The rooms were on the smaller side. This being said they still included everything we could need (dresser, closet, desk, lounge chair, bed).

Great location, very good breakfast, staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was small and the walls were thin and we could hear the people in the next room very easily. Great to be able to park our car!

A little bigger room, although we realize it's hard to provide that in an older building in that location.
