Movich Hotel Las Lomas

The location of the property is great, close to the airport and the local shopping. The hotel has great restaurants and and excellent bar. We had dinner at Pacai and would definitely recommend to check it out. We also visited the Kua Spa and it was just 10/10, great service, attention for our needs and wants. The gym was great and there were several other facilities such as a tennis court. The bed and cushions were super confortable and the room was clean. The breakfast was okay, ample options but not everything was as delicious as it looked (great presentation). Overall a great stay!

I would loved to have gotten at least a bottle of complementary water (tap water smelled like chlorine and wasn’t drinkable). I have stayed at 3 star hotels in Europe and US where tap water isn’t drinkable and you get a complementary bottle of water to stay hydrated. A half liter bottle of water was $2 (which we found to be reasonable).

Price is high in comparison to other options in Colombia. Room was clean but bathroom was still wet and bedsheet had a wet bleach smelling "stain" so I suppose the room was last minute cleaned for us (and we arrived at 7pm so it´s not that we were early birds). That felt a bit weird. Also, I hate that type of shower where you have to regulate the temperature while standing in it and having zero impact on the quantity or direction of water (way too hard, so in the beginning you´re completely sprayed with cold). But, it´s not the only place in Colombia that has that type of shower.

It was a lovely sized room with a fridge and a lovely bathroom. I enjoyed the large flat screen and the view from the window. Breakfast was fabulous, I am a vegetarian and they had many options.

I was in the 5th floor of the new building and they offer you a VIP room that you can access from 12 to 8pm. All the food there was hard, stale and just not good. I don't see the benefit of this VIP. Although there was water and soda available for free. They also had juice but they all looked yuck too all the fruit or color had settled down to the bottom leaving a cloudy water on top. None of it was appealing.

Breakfast was really good with a wide variety of options. The staff was excellent. Everybody was really helpful and friendly and also very attentive especially mrs. Luz Stella at the front desk. She made our stay a delight and has been very helpful. The food at the restaurant is very good and the staff at the restaurant is very professional and nice. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and cozy. Also it is close to the airport which is really convenient.

What we have missed the accessibility to get wifi in the room (we had to call front desk). For such a fancy hotel that was the only minor thing.

Good security, Pleasant staff members, close to the airport, nice breakfast, expansive grounds with plants, trees, and peacocks. Enjoyed the gym, both free weights and machines. Using the treadmill with a view of the road (in the distance, no noise from the cars) and the grounds was nice...added plus that one of the doors was open for air. (I dislike working out without fresh air) The room was very clean and I appreciated that the windows could be opened for fresh air.

The room is comfortable, the bathroom has a great design very simple and modern. I also like that the hotel is close by the airport and they provide transport to the airport. I had dinner also, which was beyond my expectations! Amazing food for a great price. Very recommended for a quick travel for work or something with a short stay.

I liked everything. The only thing which was a little uncomfortable, I was sleeping and I heard the door trying to open, because I had the door secured with the lock, the worker could not get in. I went to see what was going on and she apologized because on her room service paper my room appeared to be vacant.

The property itself was beautiful. The staff was very accommodating and willing to help us make arrangements for a tour and other things we needed. Even provided an airport shuttle at 3am! Great service. The bed was so comfortable and the room was nice and clean

If you’re wanting to walk anywhere it’s a min of 10 min away or more so without a car it might be inconvenient for some. But we just took a taxi and it was no big deal!

It is a nice hotel. Staff is lovely, beds are pretty comfortable and internet is stable. The gardens are beautiful and the breakfast is big and offers a lot of different options. I really enjoy the free tea and coffee area

The hotel's location does not allow for Uber Eats. The food in the restaurant is not very impressive for lunch and dinner. Although you can walk to find a restaurant near by I would prefer to order in or walk. Both of which are not an option unless you choose to use their restaurants.

I booked this hotel twice on my holiday, once at the beginning of my trip after arriving very late at the airport and once at the end of the trip to catch an early flight. Check in and check out was quick and unproblematic, and the free shuttle was reliable. The hotel itself is of high quality and I can strongly recommend the breakfast buffet as it has a wide range of options.

A seperate kettle in addition to the coffee maker would have been nice.

The breakfast is the best I've seen in Medellin. Huge selection of international and local breakfast options. The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. It was our wedding and they sent us delicious cakes which were very thoughtful.

Price is quite high compared to other options in Medellin. Hot water takes quite long, sometimes it doesn't work in the shower which is not acceptable given the price you pay.
