Very nice and old Dutch style property. Paint was solid colors and looked like it was recently done. Great decorations and made the room very cozy. Good shower head as I like big shower heads.

Shared this with the team and they did share their apologies and have plans for repairs on some items. Bathroom is a bit weird for me since it is all open with no doors. Not sure if this is normal in Dutch culture but it was a bit difficult to adapt.

The aesthetics and decor of the place is beautiful! The service at the hotel's restaurant is very good too!Good bed and good shower!

Unfortunately I saw some cockroaches outside the room and in the hotel lobby. I told the staff, who were kind and used insecticide, however, the cockroaches continued to appear. Despite that, inside the room was clean.

Attractive room, clean, peaceful, nice deck upstairs. Best features were the (1) restaurant (right by water, outdoors, excellent food) and (2) kind and helpful staff.

The neighborhood of Pietermaii in Willemstad had a lot of partially renovated buildings, so seemed a little rough around the edges (though safe and clean). Willemstad overall a little disappointing (not beachy). However, you have the rest of Curacao for beautiful beaches. Did have to go up a long flight of stairs.

staff was exceptionally friendly. Also the restaurant was really good, they organized to prepare two vegan dishes, that were not mentioned on the menu. Amazing location of facility directly in front of the ocean!

Room was really small, and didn‘t represent what we were expecting. The value of the room was in our opinion overprized

Our room’s king bed was 2 twins together which as we all know creates a trough.

It was a pleasure to stay 2 nights at BijBlauw. The hotel is located pretty central. Having the breakfast by the sea, in the restaurant area, was the highlight of the day. The room was spacious with everything needed, good wifi and great air conditioner. I warmly recommend this hotel!

BijBlauw staff really makes you feel at home. The room was excellent, with good beds, fine bathroom and tasteful design. .

BijBlauw doens't include breakfast, while room price is quiet high. The breakfast available at the restaurant is good, but expensive and not worth the price. I think they can do better in terms of breakfast for guests.

The location was great! Walking distance to all of the places in downtown Willemstad including the Queen Emma bridge. The view from the restaurant at sunset is amazing! The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room was rather small, but cosy and nicely decorated. The coffee in the room wasn't refilled.

Breakfast was fresh and nutritious; food in general good, wonderful, unpretentious evening atmosphere with a sundowner

The location is very much accessible, the hotel is beautifully furnished and equipped with love to the details. We had a wonderful stay at Bijblauw. In the last 3 days we experienced a lockdown but we got an upgrade to a bigger room with terrace which was very kind. The family running the business and the staff (Ryah, Tanisha, Pepe and so on) really took amazing care with us and were super friendly. Also the food offered in their own restaurant is amazing. We would highly recommend the hotel to everyone visiting Curacao. Thank you for your hospitality :)

No direct beach access, which is only a minor thing as the you can walk over the cliffs and get into the ocean.
