Hotel Ottilia by Brøchner Hotels

The location of the hotel was perfect for my trip - business trip to visit a company that was across the Søndermarken park. It's also about 15min from the center using the B/C s-tog (train). There are a few great restaurant options around too, so you don't have to walk too far to eat. The room design is really nice, the bed very comfy, and the overall hotel is beautiful too. The spa at the lowest floor is worth a visit too! Only 30min of massage are included in your stay, but that's nice to have. I'd reckon you add another 30min or go twice if you can afford it.

Gym was a bit small, but at least there was one and there's still the parks around to go out for a run. The rooftop bar/restaurant is great but if you stay on the 4th floor and travel for business, you may have trouble sleeping without earplugs… It's quite noisy. Though, I was in CPH during pride week so there may have been special parties going on at the bar and around that didn't help with noise. The cheapest rooms have very think windows with a huge curtain in between, making you think there's a large window – but there's none. Great thinking from the designer! But if you want lots of natural light and spend a lot of time in your room, you may consider upgrading to the more expensive rooms.

We stayed in the loft suite. This are too big rooms. It was a good setting with our kids. The design of the hotel is unique and nice. We also liked the fact with this arragement you can drink any time drinks for free at the bar. Also a good fact is the point having a good restaurant and spa (extra fee) in the same building. The breakfast is super but sometimes at the weekend in the rush hour (9-10 am) quite crowded.

There is no need to take the loft suite. The room is big but lacks some comfort. A table or a better layout of the bath room would be nice. The sink is directly in front of the toilet. Also the shower is very small. For a premium suite the arrengement it is missing some details as an umbrella or a small desk to write. In the night noise from the other room above or the fitness was very loud. In the morning the construction site next to the hotel started early. Nothing special for a city hotel, but to be taken in to consideration. As a conclusion I recommend to stay the hotel in a normal room then it is going to be perfect.

Round window was super cute and comfortable to lay down in as well. Great view. Nice modern vibe Beds are comfortable except extra bed which is hard as rock. Had to move my topper to give my 6 year old as even Matrasse spirals can be easily felt sleeping on it. Please do something about your extra beds.

Extra bed. Extremely hard to sleep on Breakfast is extremely poor. Worst I ever had in hotels. Everything is organic and tasteless. Not even salmon on buffet. Bread and fruit and bread. Omelette for extra charge? Asked for mayonnaise but not available. Pancakes for kids was offered but it was so hard and tasteless. Made with water?

Breakfast was lovely. Nice selection and good quality. Room was clean and comfortable with a great shower. Location a little out of the centre but easy transport to everywhere. Wine and nightcap hours were a lovely gesture and encourages guests to spend some time at the hotel. Bar staff member recommended some great places to eat. Thank you! Had a fab city break.

When I first looked at hotel I thought it had a pool - I had seen The Aire Baths and not read the details that it was not open to guests. Would love to have gone there but it is extortionately expensive.

Amazing breakfast on the rooftop The beds were comfortable Staff very accommodating and polite Hotel was very clean. The wine hour and nightcap hour were great perks Also recommend a visit to the next door spa (Aire)

Poor location - opposite school and construction sites where there was considerable noise in the mornings Very difficult to get to/from the city centre - best option is the train station which is just under 10 mins walk away Carlsberg beer factory tourist attraction was closed when we visited - not the hotel's fault of course

The rooms are great, impressive with a great view in a good location. Wine hour and Night cap are nice touches.

The check-in process was frustrating, the staff ignored me when I walked in and I felt like I was being a nuisance. I got the the room to discover there was no iron/ironing board so contacted reception, who told me it wasn't a business hotel and one could be delivered to me for a service charge or I could collect one from reception so I did. When I did I was told I needed to give it back as soon as I was done. It wasn't clear what the link with the pool area is and whether there are additional charges.

Very pleasant lounge and communal areas including roof top; staff were very helpful and the hotel as a whole was very welcoming with a happy hour and night cap drink for guests. The staff also gave helpful replies pre our visit to our Qs on where we could eat out locally and about transport. Breakfast was a fantastic experience with a wonderful healthy buffet to start the day!

We had to report a slight smell of rubbish in the passageway to our room but this was quickly addressed by staff

The hotel was nice -architecturally wise-, and they offered some free drinks and coffees in happy hours. Room size was good. Breakfast was also quite good. The terrace restaurant has a nice atmosphere and some view to Carlsberg place.

They offered no sleepers, no vanity kit etc.. The hotel is quite far way from metro stations (at least 10-15' walking from the closest station). 40' walking for the downtown. Especially for the night and the rainy cold days, taking a cab is the only option to move. Restaurant closes doors quite early (you cannot order after 21:30)... which is quite bizarre for a 4* hotel that hosts international guests.

love the decor of the hotel. Rooms were spacious (we stayed in a standard double) and everything was incredibly clean. Wine hour is such a nice touch and the lobby areas are fab to chill out in before or after heading out to dinner. Location is close to metro/trains (5-10 min walk). Rooftop restaurant is lovely even if just for a drink. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend staying here!!!

Only thing is it should be highlighted that the bed in a double room is actually 2 single mattresses/separate duvets.

The dinner at the restaurant was excellent, and having the choice of being able to attend the wine and nightcap hours was an added bonus. The design of the interior of the hotel and room were sleek and well kept. Members of staff were helpful and pleasant to interact with. And of course, being in the old carlsberg brewery was very cool.

Although the seleciton of the breakfast foods was good, the quaity of the cooked foods e.g. scrambled eggs could've been a bit better and it would've been nice to have more choice e.g. an a la carte menu
