House Jardin Del Caribe

we liked big space, big apartment, clean, parking place for 2 cars, close to the seaside and bars (12 min walk), good price for value.

We were on a day trip and when we return at 22.00 the employers were very angry like “you took the wrong apartment, you need to move into another, other hosts were waiting you etc!!!” we were shocked!! So it was like that we choose the wrong apartment but actually they give as keys LOL … so we need to packed the stuff and move to another also nice apartment in the evening. After loudly talk she apologised but still. Ok, things happened but we were very disappointed with communication.

Good location, close to all the main beaches (although it's better to travel there with a car). Clean, quite hotel. We had the room with the kitchen and although it wasn't super well-equipped it was enough to prepare simple meals. Had fans so it didn't get too warm.

They don't provide drinking water (which is usually the care for most hotels in the DR) so it's important to buy some beforehand.

Very nice staff working there. We were allowed to leave our bags when we arrived early. They also gave us the room earlier than official check in. Everything clean, aircon working good and its quiet in the night.

The kitchen was tiny and not really ment for cooking. But there are many restaurants, if you can afford eating out every day thats fine. Its a 30 min walk away from the nice beach

Good sized room and seating areas with character. Off street parking within overall secure area requiring key to open gate (though very little crime in area). Wifi better in upstairs seating area than in downstairs bedroom though a little more noisy. Value for money. Short walking distance to town centre shops and restuarants. Recommended.

I was aware prior to arrival that town centre is a long walk from sea and that Domincan Republic internet access speeds and reliability are not up to European levels

The host Daniel was very helpful. He helped me with many things, including renting a scooter. Every time I had a question he was there to help me and I really appreciate it. The view from the terrace is very nice. I could park the scooter inside, behind the gate, in a secured place. The room and bathroom are very clean and there's hot water, which is not really common in this part of the world. Some guests before mentioned that the neighborhood is dangerous, but it's not true. This is a touristic place and it's very safe for foreigners. People are friendly and they like to play music on the street and spend time outside.

The room is bit smaller than on the picture, but it looks nice. I had a great time there and definitely recommend this hotel!

Good honest economic accomodation in the middle of town.

The area is a bit busy if you are looking for tranquility.

location was great , close to supermarket Pola , close to bar and restaurants . you have all you need at a short distance , just few mins walking distance . the guy that is in charge of the Villa is responsive and never makes you wait .

it should be stated that there is parking place .

- very clean - 15min walking to go to the city Center and safe area (even as a girl by night) and close to the bus stop - I could do an early check-in - fast internet/ wifi to work - shared kitchen if needed

- the location was not the one indicated on map (ask the exact location to the landlord)

Well located, good rooms and clean!

Parking was a bit of a problem - the space is narrow. If you are up early you might be blocked by other cars. The person who first saw us when we arrived was quite rude, but receptionist is friendly. Other than that the place is good value for money!

WiFi is excellent. Front Patio is good. Queen Bed is well. Bathroom is very nice with hot water shower. Small cubic refrigerator is okay. Small Plasma RCA TV is normal with Claro Cable. Parking secured my rental car inside the compound well. 2 Big Security Outside Gates are secure very good.

I dislike the unfinished construction site is front of my porch.
