RIG Casa Conde

This was a fantastic little hotel that fit our budget well. The overall facilities were great, the King room I had was great and had a fantastic balcony view of the street below, the location of the hotel was perfectly centered in the middle of the Colonial Zone, it was nicely distanced from almost anywhere in Santo Domingo, and the hotel staff we encountered were also fantastic. Special thanks to Onilda for her exceptional work in tending to my room needs throughout my stay everyday. Also special thanks to Antoine at the hotel front desk, he welcomed us the first night we arrived there and was very attentive to any needs or questions we had throughout our day.

If there was one thing I could say I didn’t like it was that hot water sometimes took a while to get going in the shower but that was a minor issue.

Everything was perfect! The location is perfect because it’s in the middle of zona colonial with everything on walking distance and very save! And the hotel is clean and employees are very friendly and helpful. And we especially appreciated Deivy from the reception because he made us feel welcome and at home. He was very helpful because we could ask him anything and nothing was to much.

During check-in the lovely young lady was very kind and helpful. I was early, but they let me check in anyway. The first room they showed me didn't have a desk and I needed to work so they were kind enough to put me in a different room. The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean, the air conditioning worked, and there was hot water -- all of these things are important to most travelers and I always appreciate those features. The location is great because it is close to many things and very safe.

It would be nice if the sign outside was larger; I was only able to find the hotel because a nice gentleman selling souvenirs showed me where it was. The breakfast wasn't bad, but I think it would help to have at least slightly different options every day.

Location in the very heart of the old city, in the nice building, clean rooms, delicious breakfast and very helpfull staff - it's our place in Santo Domingo and we come back every time we visit the city!! Strongly recommended :)

The hotel is characterized by the cleanliness, great service, and the friendliness of all the staff. In the reception I have to be very thankful to Deivy. The rooms were clean and very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make my stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Santo Domingo in the Zona area. I had a wonderful experience at the RIG Casa Conde. Every staff member I encountered, from Deivy and Scarlett to the cleaning staff was delightful and eager to help! Thank you! Deivy, Scarlet, Algenis, the young lady who cleans my room with a beautiful smile, the young man on the third shift, the cooks. I will recommend it to my colleagues!

Everything was excellent to me oh wait never mind the stairs were a beast but other than that everything was great. I loved the great people that work there and I felt protected.

Great location and the breakfast was wonderful. The price was right. It was very quiet, I couldn't hear any street noise from within the hotel and there were no noise disturbances at all while staying here unlike many other places we have stayed in the area. Building is secure you buzz to enter and there is a doorbell camera so we felt very safe. Staff were very attentive and friendly. They also keep the common areas very nice and clean.

Excellent location, right in the middle of the Colonial Zone. Everything you need is just around the corner. Young and friendly staff.

Breakfast was good (coffee, fresh fruit, bread, cheese, ham and some mofongo which is always good if you like plantains), the staff attention was also good, very kind.

Because it is an old building does not have an elevator, if you have limited mobility or a big luggage, could be hard to stay in the rooms in the higher floors.

Price, very clean, happy staff, good breakfast
