New President Hotel Zamalek

Excellent location (safe and within walking distance of many restaurants and leisurely places in Zamalek) and very quiet and peaceful Friendly staff Extremely clean Comfortable room with daily cleaning services Upon check out they allowed us to store our luggage until we left for the airport in the evening so we could complete our touring on our last day

The price was too expensive for the room-it is not worth as much as is listed per night (size of the room) and breakfast is not included The views from the rooms are not nice-Mostly buildings There are 2 President hotels: The President and the New President. They are side by side and owned by the same people but different hotels. On booking.com there seems to be photos for rooms of both hotels so this is confusing. The new President is older than the President hotel (paradoxically).

Staff at check in desk were very friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom were very modern and nice. Safe location. Easy walk to the metro.

Note that you have to go next door to the President for breakfast but that isn't a big issue as it only takes a few minutes.

We couldn’t recommend more this hotel we had the best time, the staff is incredibly nice. The room was super clean and confortable, thank you Nada. We slept so well and it was super quiet on the street. The location of the hotel is amazing, super convenient and secure. The restaurant and bar close to the hotel are wonderful. As a foreigner we loved walking around in Zamalek trying delicious coffee shops and enjoying this little peace of heaven. We felt home in no time and couldn’t be more grateful. We will be back for sure.

Nothing we even had access to the main hotel president for more facilities

How clean and tidy it is and the location is close to everything

It has two schools in front of it and i can hear everything the bells and the break time and the pick up was horrible they would wake me up from 2 to 3 pm everyday 🤦🏻‍♀️💔🥹 Also it is not my first year going to cairo and i used to pay in Egyptian pounds but this time the hotel insisted on paying in dollars which i didn’t have they wouldn’t even except Bahraini dinars which is all i had ,, i paid in dollars in the end but the whole situation stressed me 😑

No hairdryer in room.

The location was great. Very central, you have the whole Zamalek close. The staff was very friendly. The room was very basic, but clean (although had to ask them to clean the bathroom an extra time when I checked in, but they did and after that everything was spotless). The wifi worked well, my room was also facing a courtyard, so it was very quiet. For me the best part was that the room didn’t have a full carpet, this is a plus!

There are always improvements that can be made, the small finishes and details, to elevate the place more. Especially the check in area which wasn’t very cozy. Doesn’t really affect the stay, just as a note. This is more of a hotel that you would just sleep in and spend your days outside, not a hotel for relaxing and staying in to have an experience.

This hotel was absolutely perfect. It is in an amazing location, within walking distance to tons of cute cafes and restaurants. The staff is soooo kind and friendly. They let us store our bags there while we went on a 3 day tour outside of Cairo. The wifi is extremely reliable and fast, we took video calls without an issue. We used a tour guide named Khaled that we found through other reviews of the hotel, and he was an absolutely amazing tour guide. You can ask the hotel to have him contact you if you want to use him. This hotel was clean, cozy, and I absolutely recommend staying here when in Cairo.

Nothing, it was literally perfect.

Very clean and comfortable room Staff were super friendly and helpful Really safe and clean neighbourhood, felt safe walking around solo at night etc. Central locations so Ubers only cost about 20-40EGP if you are going into Downtown or the Bazaar

The power went out each night for up to an hour, but I think this is common overall as it happened at a few places I stayed in Egypt. I had a few things laundered before my flight, they came back damp and didn't seem clean at all, just smelt nice. I don't recommend the Italian/Pizza place down stairs, it is average and the waiter was super rude.

The location is very nice, the staff is really friendly and helpful. The room is very clean and it has all the facilities needed. The breakfast is good but a little bit expensive. We had a very reliable guide named Khaled Abdu for our trip to visit the pyramids.I highly recommend him as he has all the inforamtion we need as tourist and the best pricetag for a day trip. You can ask the hotel for his number and they will provide it to you.

The ventilation and cooling is not very good as it does much noise and it does not cool enough in our opinion
