Excellent location by the river, very quiet. Lovely studio apartment, clean, well-appointed, conveniently laid out and furnished, with a private entrance a few metres from the main hotel and restaurant entrance. Excellent two- or three-course dinner menu; limited choice but beautifully cooked and presented, good wine list. Simple but very good breakfast. The restaurant is pleasantly set near the river, with an open-air section for warm days. The staff were very attentive and helpful.

I was initially slightly concerned about the on-street parking opposite the hotel entrance, but the road is very quiet, and it was actually a convenience.

The hotel has been recently modernized. We stayed in a family room, which was all that was left online so we had more space than we really needed for a couple. It also had a small kitchenette. The room was comfortable with a view of the river and garden and the bathroom was modern and clean. We ate dinner. I would advise getting down to dinner early, at 7.00, as we booked for 7.30 and the better menu items were no longer available. As there were only 3 starters, mains and desserts to choose from, it reduced the number available to 2. Vegetarians were not well catered for.

If we return we will book earlier and get a smaller room, which will be better value for 2 people. Other than that the only thing that could be better would have been advice to turn up promptly for dinner.

Lovely village by the river, perfect for a stopover just off motorway. Dinner on the restaurant terrace overlooking the river was tasty and good value (the homemade lemon tart was delicious!), and they did me a special vegetarian main course. Amazing to see kingfishers gliding by. We stayed in one of their new studios looking onto the garden. Very spacious, air conditioned, big bed and shower. Very quiet. We travel a lot to the UK, and will be back, next time with our dogs ( turn left out of the hotel and keeping going straight on for a wonderful off-lead walk by river).

All great, staff were very attentive and friendly too. Easy shady parking right next to the hotel. Couldn't fault it. Might get better rates if you call and book direct.

We were upgraded to a studio apartment. Brand new, spotless and with a view of the river, as well as a garden. The space was big and there was a kitchen area so the apartment would be perfect for a longer stay. The staff were friendly and eager to help. The food in the restaurant was good and the breakfast was as expected, with delicious bread, croissants and jam. Cold meat and cheese was also offered. The location is perfect for a night en route elsewhere, very close to the motorway but peaceful and with a lovely river. Free and easy parking.

There was nothing we didn't like.

The welcome we received was very friendly and helpful and we were delighted to be upgraded to a more easily accessible room on the ground floor. This is a delightful hotel of considerable age and character with a pleasant terrace and garden overlooking the river.The dinner in the restaurant was superb and the Saint Hubert represents excellent value for money. It is also very conveniently situated close to the motorway whilst being in a quiet and beautiful town of historical interest. We will certainly be making a return visit and recommend the hotel for a memorable stay.

The staff were very helpful and the restaurant is good. It’s a useful location for a stopover for us on our way south do we stayed both going and coming back to the UK. When we came back on a Wednesday, timing our return so we could have lunch there, the restaurant was closed but the staff provided us with a sandwich lunch and showed us the garden where we could sit. We changed rooms to a spacious studio with air conditioning

There was no parasol in the garden so I couldn’t use it (I’ve been taking medication that makes my skin v sensitive to sunburn.)

Excellent home cooked dinner - they understood immediately what was involved in a coeliac diet. I felt very safe.I also felt that I could eat very well. They have upgraded the whole building somehow managing at the same time to retain its feeling of history. It was spotlessly clean and felt 'fresh'. The staff were professional, caring and efficient without being 'corporately polished' which we really appreciated. The shower was excellent

it would have been nice to have a choice of some fruit or yoghurt at breakfast, but that's the only thing

A wonderful meal in the popular restaurant, overlooking the river, was a lovely end to a long day's travel. Our host showed us to the hotel's garden, where we enjoyed the rest of the evening with a carafe of the well priced house-red. The room was clean and comfortable, with a spacious shower and bathroom. A kettle was provided with a limited supply of tea and coffee.

Only one pillow, but I feel certain if we had asked our host would have supplied another.

Nice location and as it was a stopover on our drive back to UK it totally suited our needs. The restaurant was lovely with excellent food and prices very reasonable. It was nice to sit outside next to the river and there was the option to sit inside as well. The room was compact and very clean and despite overlooking the road it wasn't noisy at all. Staff were very friendly and pleasant. Breakfast was also good. Simple but lovely fresh croissants and bread.It was overall very good value for money.

We were surprised by the very thin walls upstairs as it reminded me somewhat of a Mobile-home. My guess is that it was converted from a huge open space into a few bedrooms in what was probably an old building. Therefore you could hear people outside the room very clearly. Despite that it didn't seem to disturb us much as there are only a few rooms and most people seemed considerate. Also despite being nice to eat outside, as the terrace was lovely, we did ask to move tables due to an unpleasant smell from the bins.

A paradise of tranquility, in a wonderful area. Staff and facilities are outstanding with brand new apartments filled with everything you need for your stay. The restaurant and the terrace are cozy and quiet and the service and quality food outstanding. A great place to recommend and a romantic environment for couples. Special highlights well deserved for the staff and restaurant quality. Happy to return anytime!!
