Novotel Nice Arenas Aeroport

The staff were very friendly, and the shuttle to the hotel was a welcome gesture, as the van had great, cool air conditioning! The location was perfect to get public transportation to other areas of Nice and beyond. The airport was across the road from the hotel so it was convenient for when you arrive and depart.

The television had no English speaking programmes, and the subtitles were not working either. More tea and sugar are required in the rooms - only a few tea bags and sugar were left each morning, so I had to keep going to reception to get extras to make my tea. 3 guests stayed in our room, but only 1 complentary bottle of water was provided.

My son thought the hotel was quite "fancy" and enjoyed the grandness of it. Everything was very clean and lovely. The restaurant was great - we ate there twice and enjoyed the meal very much both times. There is a games area and a lot of lounging space. We would definitely stay again.

It was a little difficult to figure out how to get to the front door because of the new construction and the roads all curve around each other - we didn't find it the first day and ended up parking in the wrong area. It appeared to be RIGHT by the airport but in fact it was a bit convoluted to get there on foot. It was also a bit of a longer walk to the nearest train than expected, again because of the convoluted walking route. All of that said, if you are just coming in on a shuttle from the aiport and/or leaving that way, it would be great.

Perfect location situated outside Nice Airport Terminal 1. A bus stop opposite the hotel and tram station just steps away. Train station 5 mins away from the hotel from where you can travel along the Southern Rivera and Monaco at ease! Very comfortable hotel, modern, clean and beautiful. Nice staff members. Hotel has beyond exceeded my expectations. Hotel offers a free airport shuttle which is an added bonus. Thank you for the wonderful stay, will not hesitate to stay at Novotel Nice Arenas the next time I visit Nice!!

Swimming pool facilities would have been great

The staff were great,the hotel allowed us an hour free late check out as our flight got cancelled and we got free airport drop off which leaves every half hour.

Didn’t like the horrible attitude of a night staff we spoke to on the night of the 29th July 2023. I thought I forgot an item in the safe after checking out and I called at night to see if there was anything handed into lost and found. The man that picked up the phone was extremely rude, didn’t Let me finish my sentence and simply said call back tomorrow and dropped. I called him back and he did and said the exact same thing.

Excellent location with free shuttle service to the airport. About 1 km pleasant walk to the nearest beach area or can take the bus (stop nearby). Clean room with the best view! We watched airplanes take-off and land from the large room window. Early check-in was allowed. It gave us time to freshen up before proceeding for sight seeing. Well-connected to Nice center by bus. For Eze village, take only the bus (with amazing views) as the train drops at the village base. The hotel had a good breakfast assortment beginning at 6 am. Pleasant, helpful staff. For arrival by train, best to get off at Nice - Saint Augustine stop. We had a lovely stay, thank you!

Nice very modern Novotel. Room and bed were both quiet and comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. Staff at check-in were friendly and efficient.

I arrived late at night, taking the tram from the airport. The walk from the tram stop to the hotel was further than anticipated (10 mins) - whilst a nice area, I didn't feel comfortable walking alone through quiet streets late at night and with heavy luggage.

Very convenient to the airport, the tram and the train station. Surprisingly you could not hear the airplanes-very well insulated from sound. The staff went out of their way to help us with some luggage storage issues which made a big difference in our multi-faceted trip using this hotel as a base to visit several other countries in addition to the Côte d’Azur. We took the tram to old town Nice, the train to Cannes, and planes to Spain and then to the US- very convenient, especially with airport shuttle.

Restaurant food was ok.

We spent three nights at the hotel and it was absolutely the best choice. All the staff are very pleasant. The breakfast is excellent and once we had dinner and the service in the restaurant was perfect. The location of the hotel is ideal for our trips. We took advantage of traveling by train, bus and tram and everything was very close. We will definitely be happy to return to the hotel again. We travel very often and this hotel was exceptional, perfect.

Excellent staff who were helpful and polite. Room was very comfortable and quiet with top notch aircon. Superb breakfast! Shuttle minibus to airport terminals was a plus.

Minor issue: we didn't know how to get the Novotel shuttle when we arrived at T2 (need to book it with hotel) but there was a free bus between terminals and shortish walk from T1 to the hotel itself. We would have liked to have a bathtub as well as a shower.

Very clean, modern room. Close to lots of public transport options including the train, tram and bus so easy to get into town. Staff were pleasant and the dessert we had one night was great. Always had fresh water in lobby and left note for f1 weekend which was nice touch.

Pillows were too hard, but this is a subjective thing and didn’t detract from the wonderful stay we had.
