Villa Omaha

From very warm and welcoming host, one of the nicest people we met in France:), to the delicious breakfast provided, our stay was an absolute delight. The location was perfect, peaceful and close to the beach, the house itself was also beautifully furnished.

the owner was very nice with great tips about restaurants and museums. The location couldn’t have been better. The breakfast was good, plenty to eat. the dog and cats were very cute and well behaved.

The shower was difficult to figure out because the cold water handle was hard to move. and because it was so small, water got out into the floor very easily.

we had an amazing stay here! great location for visiting the d day sites and beaches. our host was very friendly, spoke in English for us, gave us great recommendations on what to do and where to eat. The room was spacious and the bed was really comfortable! we could come and go as we wanted with no fuss. the house is beautifully decorated and has a very homely atmosphere. our plans changed last minute too and the host was very accommodating. parking on site which was really convenient for us. we loved loved loved the owners poodle and cat, very friendly and really well trained. we enjoyed giving them a cuddle but if you are hesitant about animals it’s ok too because they are so well behaved and came over for cuddles because we wanted them to. Can’t recommend this place enough if you are visiting Normandy for the d day beaches, cemeteries and museums. 10/10 would stay here again.

no negatives from us…we loved it!!

Emmanuel may be the kindest host with whom I have ever interacted. Nice breakfast, warm and quiet rooms, and literally ON the Omaha Beach battlefield. Stay here. Period, end of story. Stop looking, stop debating - stay here!!! Room is large by euro standards and you also have access to a sitting room for even more space. Beach is minutes away and you can walk to the Overlord Museum and the American Cemetery. For those from the USA, host is fluent in English. He also provides spot-on recommendations for dining and museum visits.

Only that I should have stayed more than two nights….

Lovely host, v friendly and helpful. Nice room, with a shared area for coffee making etc. Location near the beach, and walking distance to a number of cafe's and restaurants made it ideal for our stay. We had to leave at 6am, so too early for breakfast, but the host was kind enough to leave out croissants to have with our coffee before leaving.

Emmanuel was very kind and helpful! He was not there when we arrived, but he left explicit directions for us, including nearby restaurant suggestions! We chose Le Trot (not sure of spelling). It was delicious and they were so patient with us! Emmanuel's breakfast had a great variety and he stayed a while with us to visit! We even met the king of the house, his sweet dog! The location was great to see all of Omaha Beach! Emmanuel's advice on what to see concerning D-Day was excellent!

Emmanuel is a very welcoming host and we loved the proximity to Omaha Beach and the local restaurants. Our bedroom overlooking the rear garden was very comfortable and peaceful. We had a very filling breakfast before leaving and a good conversation with Emmanuel who we liked very much

Nice light room with a bed long enough even for a tall Dutch guy :) Emmanuel was an excellent host and prepared an lovely simple breakfast early Sunday morning for us.

From the booking information and pictures it was a bit hard to tell how the bathroom facilities would be.

The house is very much near the beach. The owner was very nice. The room was very clean and the bathroom too. Food was good as well.

Not very finely directed to find the exact house in booking. Can reach the road by Gmap direction. Booking.com direction is confusing. In the night.

The location is great, the home-like atmosphere combined with privacy of room and near I stand access to both beach and a really good while reasonably priced restaurant. more than recommended, would stay here again with more time to explore. The host is magnificent.
