ibis Augsburg Koenigsplatz

The staff at Ibis were absolutely fantastic. They did not hesitate once when we asked for help, from receiving our food deliveries, to giving advice on where to eat or how to get around. Farid and Rainer specifically, we cannot sing their praises enough. The location is also just fantastic, a 5 minute walk from the main station, and a tram just outside the hotel, allowed us to get around very easily. Thanks to all for the stay and we'll definitely be back soon!

The aircon unfortunately didn't work but we were out all day so it didn't bother us too much.

Easy to find hotel, great location near pedestrian zone and main train station. On-site secured parking was great (if a bit tight!) Breakfast! The highlight - great selection of excellent food and coffee/ drinks. Worth the 15€ fee! Staff was friendly and helpful.

Loud people on the street at night (if your windows were open) and occasional rumbling of a train.

The property was fantastic. Staff is very polite: I stayed at the long queue to check in and they asked me to sit down in order to wait and suggested me any kind of drinks at the expense of the hotel. Room was fantastic - all clean and light. Breakfast was good and tasty, liked the way they serve everything.

Great location for downtown or access to the university. Easy walking distance to restaurants, shops and train station. Clean room with efficient design. I appreciated that the window could be fully opened to let in fresh air. Effective dark curtains to keep out the early morning summer sun. The reception was kind enough to let me check in very early after an arriving exhausted from an overnight international flight.

Breakfast was good, but nothing exceptional. More fruit and cheese options would have been welcomed.

Nice comfortable bed, large enough room. Room was very quiet with the window closed. We had a peaceful sleep. Spacious bathroom.

Extra pillows would be nice but apart from that everything was great about the room and stay.

On the last night some girl from our floor, the 4th floor started knocking and running away. she did it 4 times and we called the reception desk twice but no one answered, even though they say it’s a 24hr reception service. turns out it was just a stupid joke in the middle of the night, which disturbed us.

The fact it's closer to the city, and the shopping area and lots to offer.

The Atmosphere a lot of history in Ausburg..

-Slow wifi -The parking garage comes at an extra cost and it's quite a steep one if you're traveling on a budget.

My reservation was without breakfast but the room was so good and I like the desk so much and the lighting too
