The family room was extremely spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great too.

We would have preferred an earlier breakfast than 7:30 as we are early risers and would have liked to get on with our sightseeing.

Huge room with a balcony and gorgeous view. Comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast. Easy walk to the town center. Great restaurant on site for a delicious dinner. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Parking on site costs 5 euros and can be hard to find a spot when hotel is fully booked. There is a public lot directly in front of hotel where you can park for free—you need a parking disc during business hours (10-5) and can park only 3 hours but can park without a disc from 5 pm to 10 am for an unlimited time. These spots do fill up so recommended arriving no later than 6 pm.

Very good hotel in a strategic location not far from the bus station to reach the surroundings. Comfortable room, clean bathroom. One comment on the pillows in the below section that was promptly solved by the staff. Breakfast was good considering that we normally get satisfied with a cappuccino and croissant. Just consider that coffee and cappuccino are from automatic self service machines. Wide parking lot just outside the hotel and parking spots also available in the indoor parking garage for a small fee.

The only comment is on the pillows and I can understand the perception may vary from person to person. You get one pillow per person, no additional available, and this one is definitely too soft. The staff promptly solved giving two additional better pillows.

- Perfect location - the hotel is located just opposite the train and bus station, making it super convenient to catch buses to explore the area. Despite its central location, it’s very peaceful and quiet. There is a lovely stream in front of the hotel and mountain view all around. - Spacious and very clean room. Our room also has a big balcony to chill. - Delicious breakfast. There is a restaurant on site too which we tried 2 times. Food is okay but it is comfortable to just have dinner at the hotel after a long day of hiking.

- The pillows are not fluffy and way too flat. It’s like sleeping without pillow at all :( - Wifi signal is kinda weak in my room.

Hotel is in a perfect location across the street from the train / bus stations. Room is good size. Breakfast included. Nice restaurant to eat dinner and have a beer when it was raining outside.

The free bus card was a little confusing, especially when we checked out to take a one way bus ride to Salzburg. The receptionist said that we should keep the card because it’d be a cheaper fare to Salzburg with the guest card discount, but that wasn’t true. The bus fare was 6 EUR with the guest card and 6.20 EUR without the guest card. I was glad that I chose to get the 5 EUR deposit back when I returned the guest card at check out.

The location is super, 2 min. walking from the Berchtesgaden HBF, it's very convenience to go anywhere in the area with the public transportation. The room is spacious and very clean. View from the room is great. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. We arrived before noon, we stored our luggage and get the free transportation card, so we can immediately use it. Breakfast is German stay simple but nice. In early morning, it's crowded. After 8:30 there will be less people for in the breakfast room. There is also super market in about 300 meters away. Highly recommend this hotel.

The bed is too soft and pilow is too thin. There is no door in the shower area, water goes out easily.

Excellent location, very close to the HBF (within walking distance). If you are going to Konigsee, then you just need to walk 3minutes to take the bus to the boat departure place. The breakfast was good with plenty of options. The staff there were very helpful. All the trains to Munich got cancellded and the lady in reception helped us check for other possible options. Other staff were also very friendly and helpful. The room is very lovely and clean. The bed was comfortable with very soft blanket. I had a great stay and slept soundly there, and therefore, highky recommended.

Excellent breakfast! Excellent location to the train station - literally across the street. Staff was friendly and able to help us with questions in English or German. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Restaurant was also nice and reasonably priced with a beautiful view. I would stay here again if traveling to Berchtesgaden.

With no AC, it was a little uncomfortable until the sun went down. But we had a heat wave so perhaps it is better with normal weather. Once it was dark, sleeping with windows open was fine.

A great place to stay to see Berchtesgaden, Köningssee etc. Although it is on a roundabout, the traffic noise was minimal as we were on the back/side. We had a room in the newer part, with a balcony and lovely view of the mountains. The room and bathroom were very spacious and well equipped. The staff was extremely friendly - at reception as well as in the restaurant. Free parking below/round the back of the hotel.

As Berchtesgaden is on a hill and this hotel is in the valley, it’s a bit of an uphill hike to get to the centre. It’s only a 5 minute drive up but parking is limited, though we were off season and always able to find something.

Great location just next to the HBF. Lovely river view for morning breakfast and mountain view from the room. Big and spacious. Staff are friendly.

Very basic facilities in the rooms and our biggest issue was the lack of hot water kettles. To get hot water you have to go downstairs to get it. Check-in was also strange as when we arrived at 1 as discussed, the hotel was completely empty and closed. Then housekeeping coincidentally saw us and came to tell us that the reception will open at an unknown hour — “maybe 2, 3…” which confused us thoroughly. But when we got back from sightseeing at 4+ it was open already.
