Holiday Inn Express - Kaiserslautern, an IHG Hotel

The location was perfect for us and only 10 mins. from where we had to go. The room was nice with comfortable bed and modern bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful and served in a beautiful, clean setting. The receptionists were very courteous and we also enjoyed the bar before heading to the room at night. All staff members went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant stay.

Can't think of anything negative.

Perfect hotel for our 1 night stay coming back from our holiday. It was extremely hot that day and the Ac in the hotel room was our life saver. Super friendly staff, breakfast good, very clean room and nice comfy bed. No noise from other rooms or from outside

The area is not really inspiring, but that’s not why we booked it. Next to a cinema and a parking lot and some houses also. Not an unsafe area either. 5€ parking fee is a bit much, but assume your car is being looked after also, so not a big thing for us.

The ladies at the reception and bar area were fantastic! Very friendly and helpful and kind to my dog. I think they went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. They explained how the parking works and offered to box the free breakfast so that I could eat it in my room so my dog wouldn't be lonely.

everything was great. A small fridge in the room would have been nice (for keeping drinks cool) but it was not a deal breaker at all. The bed was comfy and the room was clean and cool. We slept very well.

It was very clean, nice breakfast, extremely silent. The stuff was helpful and nice.

Parking was completely full so we needed to use back side parking on which if something happens hotel has no responsibility. Although, that parking is just on the other side of the hotel from where the stuff has a view.

Breakfast is very nice, bed is comfortable, room is very clean.

Smart TV set did self-reset every 10-15 min. Anyhow, I was on a business trip. No time to watch TV. Smoke from smokers at main entrance move into my open window at 203. Maybe allocate another place for smokers.

Room was very clean with nowadays TV, cable TV, full blinding curtains, good sound protection. Very comfortable exit to highway. Delicious coffee. Cups, kettle, tea, coffee in a room.

very annoying system in a elevator with touch card. Only eggs and pancakes of hot food for breakfast. Overpriced food and drinks in a bar. Quite long distance to downtown without car or taxi. No drinking water in rooms in bottles.

Really tucked away from the noisy street traffic so you don’t have to hear any of it. Good breakfast options and nice bar that opens up in the evening. The staff is very friendly

Parking. Why charge for parking when everyone parks for free in the movie theater lot. Plus the parking machines are really awkward to use due to the entry and exit angle.

It’s very clean and. the staff are always friendly and helpful. Currently, they have a partnership a gym just down the street. You pay a reduced fee for a day pass to the gym and it’s quite reasonable. The breakfast selection is good. They will make you a “to go” bag if you request it the night before. It is great for someone who has to be out early and can’t eat during regular breakfast hours.

Excellent breakfast! Hotel staff are nice and the cost is pretty descent/affordable.

No fridge in the room. Standard room is smaller than expected but for two people its descent. The shower room need to be more enclosed so water don’t splash out.

there is no wardrobe with drawers and there is no small refrigerator. A hotel of a certain standard should have these things. The breakfast is plentiful but there is nothing hot, I mean bacon, eggs, sausages etc.

the room is quite big and clean.
