ACHAT Hotel Neustadt an der Weinstraße

We had more than enough room for our family of 5. The beds were comfortable, and most impressive of all, the pillows were also very comfy. That is unusual for most hotels we stay at in/around Germany. The walk to the train station was not even 5 minutes.

The room wasn't quite ready for us even an hour and a half past the posted check-in time, and I had shared our expected arrival time. So the lovely chambermaids had to work around the kids and luggage to get the other beds set up. Not a huge inconvenience, but it wasn't ideal.

Excellent family room on top floor with little outside patio veranda area and multiple rooms all on one apartment like.

The parking garage under the hotel does not always have enough space and the roof is too low for a car with a roof box. We parked on the street which you can do out of ours at night.

The bed was nice and comfy. The rooms are spacious.

Carpet in the room was dirty. They need to refurbish the flooring and tiles in the bathroom. The room and the central hall is a bit smelly. The evening front-office staff was not very welcoming and could be more professional.

Very good service at the restaurant.

No facilities for smokers, especially in wet weather. No ashtray near the front door (but many buds on the floor).

The staff were very helpful & friendly. the hotel is in a great area with easy walking to transport & good eating places. comfortable bed, nice shower & clean room. thanks for a lovely stay.

Excellent hotel in the centre of Neustadt an der Weinstraße - excellent staff and very comfortable room - there is an underground car park but it is not possible to reserve a space, which is unfortunate. There is street parking and car parks very close which is great and street parking by the hotel is free after 3 on a saturday and all day sunday - which worked very well for us!

The premises were clean, the bed was comfortable and there was good pressure in the shower.

The decor was a bit dowdy, specifically the carpets and the wardrobes. Not a deal breaker, but not particularly attractive.

Nice staff, fast check-in, could leave our luggage there longer. Room is big enough & was clean.

Breakfast is very expensive

Excellent hotel in the centre of the town - attentive staff and quality rooms and fittings - underground car park is a real bonus!

Location may become a bit noisy by people outside during weekends.
