B&B Hotel Koblenz

The hotel was very nice and has plenty of free parking. The room was excellent, has comfortable bed. The bathroom was well organized. The breakfast was good and breakfast area was very nice. It does not take long to get to the center of the town, may be 10-15mins to the the beginning of the pedestrian area. This hotel has reception but it does not work all the time and guests should do the self check-in in front of the door to the lobby, including document verification and payment.

The self check-in is good and handy but the machine to do it is located immediately by the entrance door which has a keypad to enter the code provided to a guest. This location is 100% violation of the privacy because everyone who is entering the lobby can see the information that you enter for check in (passport number, names, etc). Also a person checking in should step away to let the guests entering the building to use that door in the middle of entering information. This is really bad location for the machine.

The rooms were relatively large, clean and beds were comfortable. The elevator they have was also useful when carrying luggage. Things in the rooms and the hallways looked like being relatively new, so the general impression was good. the hotel is located next to a main road, so access to the travel route was easily without actual time loss. The hotel also relatively close to the old town and the Rhine river, so you can walk there if you like.

Good location with an easy access to the central station or to the city center on foot (if you don’t have to carry huge luggage, I would say). The hotel locates near a big road, but I had no problem with the noise and it was quiet enough in the facility. There is a free parking lot on the hotel premises, which was quite easy to find. The breakfast buffet was also good.

This hotel is similar to a Travelodge, it was clean and a short walk into the old Town.

Finding the entrance to the on site car park was difficult, I took 3 attempts. When you enter the slip road, you have to leave on the right, the first gap in the fenced off car park is for the hotel. Should you miss this you have to go a full circle, as it is all one way.

Really great little hotel, and super value breakfast. The bin in the downstairs/reception toilet was overflowing when we arrived so I was a bit dubious, but the room was great and all other areas were clean. Small room, but big, comfortable double bed, I reckon it was queen or king size, and kids loved the big bunk bed. About a 15 min walk from the Aldstadt/Central area.

The overflowing bin in the toilet in the reception area didn't give the best first impression, but we couldn't fault anything else.

I like the consistency of B&B Hotels. We have stayed in them in various cities across Germany and we're always very pleased. I like the self check-in option. I also like how there is no check-out. It's always a very easy experience. These hotels, from our experience, are always clean, no-nonsense and comfortable. I always look for a B&B Hotel when planning to visit a city. Oh, and the price is REALLY great too--highly recommend.

Confortable and well equipped room. Vending machine. Easy access.

Due to a big event in the city, it was not possible to park at the hotel or even nearby. Also the breakfast room was crowded. This brought also the room price up.

Good location, city center 5min. away, by crossing the green pedestrian bridge over the road. Reasonable prices for drinks in vending machine. Very polite staff that actually speaks English, a rarity in Germany! The room was clean and good size. Big parking lot, but at night it was packed full. There are a couple of places where you can squeeze your car even if parking is full. Overall great place!

Close your window if you don't want to hear the train passing by at night.

Easy automatic check-in . Room was clean and nice but basic. Walking distance to the city center ( but near the railway station no so nice to cross in the evening).

Location was a bit difficult to reach because of a crossing bridge that was not so obvious where to cross. Next to the highway, no restaurant or coffee bars near by. Beds not so comfortable for my taste.

Free parking and it's close proximity to the city made this hotel ideal. The family room with bunk beds was perfect for our family of four. For an additional €10 each there was breakfast that was simple but pleasing to kids and adults.

The room seemed clean but the shower was moldy and could have used better cleaning between guests.
