Five Elements Hostel Leipzig

Perfect/beautiful location and excellent value: close to tube for those who don't want to walk , and at the heart of the city centre; friendly and helpful staff; spacious room and very quiet on our floor. We had a family room; there are also rooms for bigger groups. There was a tiny bit of noise from outside (nothing to do with a crowd though, it seemed to be an echo of a street musician somewhere) but it stopped at midnight so wasn't an issue at all. It was a rainy evening so was very quiet outside. Breakfast is simple but good quality and more than I would usually have at home!

Nothing! The Hotel is transparent about their location/the possible noise that could come from being so central and they do their best to find quiet rooms and help (we were given ear plugs as I worried about the noise).

The room is spacious and convenient for wheelchair, right in front of elevator, the staff from booking handling to reception to breakfast area are very helpful and friendly, they have reserved us a bathroom equipped with disabled facilities from our special request made in booking.com. Location is perfect right in the old town, in front of S Bahn station "Markt", there is a parking next to it, under the mall Markt Galleria, one full day we paid 20€ with pre-booking on the website, enter via auto recognition of car number plate. Breakfast is great value for money as everyone else commented in their review, for 7.50€ you get many selections of sweet and savoury options

Very Amazing location! On the edge of the historical center! about 10-12 min by foot from bus/train. Very-very spacious rooms; I stayed in a "mixed" room. Lovely staff, very receptive. I noticed a lot of families staying there, very family-friendly & also for groups <3 Very clean, very well-organized. Modern bathroom facilities, in each room. Additional bathrooms in the hallway. Nicely sized lockers. Lights & plugs by each bed. Kitchen facilities available. An elevator Two or three lounge areas to work late into the evening. Two options for storing luggage before & after (free & personal lockers) Spacious dining area, very modern & clean. Breakfast, was absolutely worth it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YES YES YES I would stay there again!!!!

a few very small things ----> it would be better for the bunks to have curtains around them ... and ... it would be very nice to be able to reserve a bottom bunk (( although we managed to work this out, the check-in girl helped work it out )) -- but, these issues are very small, compared to the quality of this hostel as a whole.....

I really liked the location of the hotel, the cleanliness and the staff, the person who was there on Saturday was fantastic, friendly, attentive, a person who makes your stay easy and pleasant. And what I loved most is that the entry is 24 hours a day and they respond to your messages immediately. Thank you very much for your attention. This was a fascinating place to stay - a youth hostel vibe with private hotel-like rooms. We had a great view of the square outside from our room window. We were only a short walk from the Thomas Kirche and close to much of the old city. We especially loved the spacious dining room, where we could prepare and eat our own lunches and suppers, and the breakfasts we paid for three mornings were well worth the money. The day staffer was especially friendly and perfectly fluent in English.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. On a positive note, the hotel had a bar where I was able to enjoy a happy hour and have a beer for only 2 euros. I also took advantage of the breakfast option, which was simple but satisfying, and well priced at 7.5 euros. The hotel also had a kitchen, lounge with a pool table and various board games, making it a great option for those seeking social activities. The central location and various amenities such as the bar and lounge, make this hotel a decent choice for those seeking a budget-friendly stay in the heart of town.

The room was certainly spacious, with plenty of room for additional furniture to make it feel even more homely. Unfortunately, the empty space and lack of lighting due to some lamps not working, gave the room a rather cold atmosphere. Additionally, the fan in the toilet was quite noisy, which was a nuisance. However, the location of the hotel was perfect, right in the center of town, making it convenient for sightseeing and exploring. The downside to this central location was that parking was expensive, with a cost of 20 euros for my stay.

Coming from me who hates hostels and the only reasom im here coz i have no choice and didnt want to pay for more money just to stay for 10hrs in Liepzig, this is an amazing hostel, clean, modern and was established very well. No smell, bed and matress was amazing even when i am on the top of the bunk bed and for €17 a night it is a hell of a deal.. the 4 female bedroom is sooo roomy and has high ceiling 18 foot ceiling. The hostel is sooo big although it like playing maze there. But I would definitely highly recommend.

+ Very friendly and helpful staff + Lockers inside the room (I did not have a lock on me and I was given one from the reception for free against a deposit which was paid back in full on returning it) + Leave baggage facility at the reception (common locked space + large lockers if you need to keep valuables ) + Cozy common areas + full kitchen on + Power sockets for each bed + Very good location + has its own bar next to the reception

- Wifi inside the room was very very poor - No body wash gel or anything along those lines in the shower

Excellent beds and very convenient location, very helpful staff. I managed to get a bottom bunk bed as I don't like climbing into bed, there was a power outlet and a light right next to the bed and the there was also a nice bar at the hostel.

There was a smell of cigarettes in the room when I arrived even though the windows were open, but I imagine this was just an isolated incident. Also there was a drunk guy in the room causing trouble but the staff managed to move him to another room.

The location is simply amazing! How the staff accommodated my request for a quiet room even though this was my first time visit and the room cleanliness was just wonderful. I didn't try the breakfast but I was told that there were enough options for Vegans. I'd appreciate it if the management considers adding soy or almond milk apart from whole and half milk. I'm really looking forward to my future stays at this hostel!

Sound proofing is always a problem in any hostel, I wouldn't consider this a big deal.
