Hotel Leipzig City Nord by Campanile

I really liked the hotel. We slept well in extremely comfortable beds, the room was hot, but the air conditioner was refreshing. We found plenty of towels in the bathroom as well as a very large coil to dry them. We were very pleased with the kettle with coffee and tea, which we drank in the mornings. The hotel is conveniently located, with a bus and tram stop right next to the hotel, so it was very easy to get to the center of Leipzig. Although the hotel is right on the road, it was quiet and peaceful at night because the windows of the hotel faced the inner courtyard. I am very glad I chose this accommodation option during my trip!

The staff and cleaners were extremely pleasant, hospitable and helpful. The rooms were cleaned to a high standard, even when we did not go out until the afternoon. Immediately adjacent to the hotel is Rewe Supermarket (open until 10 pm Monday to Friday); there is a delightful pub just along the road and all the regulars were very friendly to us; the tram stop outside the hotel whisks you to the city centre in 15 to 20 minutes.

The street outside the hotel is very noisy with trams and emergency vehicles, as well as the usual traffic.

Great location. We had room 501 which is huge (I've been in apartments smaller) plus it has a large balcony. Room had comfortable beds, dining table and chairs, sofa and small kitchen alcove with kettle, small hob, sink, microwave and fridge. Bathroom with small bath and over bath shower. Windows on three sides so filled with light in daytime. Excellent location on 16 tram line. Loved Leibzig and staying here. Breakfast was great with cooked and cold dishes, great bread.

Shower not the greatest and a bit difficult to adjust temperature. Bit of a lack of lighting at night, just three side lights for large room.

Comfortable room, silent hotel, reasonable choice of food at breakfast, very nice neighbourhood, full of villas and old-fashioned apartment houses. No more than 10 mins to the city centre by tram, about 30 mins if walking. Many good restaurants close to the hotel. Very good rate price - services.

Everything was fine. Maybe the bed could have been wider. One day we went for breakfast at 9 and they were run out of scrambled eggs, sausages and bacon. But the staff was very helpful and offered to prepare it for us immediately.

Very good location with free parking possibilities on a nearby streats and tram/bus just in front of the door. The room was comfortable, clean and the breakfast was really good! There is a very nice park nearby if you need a place e.g. for jogging or just to have a walk. Also a couple of nice restaurants in a walking distance. Supermarket just next door.

Tram stops in front of the hotel. They were really nice to our dog. Got a welcoming kit for her.

The room was really hot. The fan in the room was helping a bit but it would be nice if there was a larger fan available or a ceiling fan.

Room was hot and stuffy, needs better ventilation especially after a shower needs a bathroom exhaust fan.
