Moxy Ludwigshafen

I've stayed at this hotel twice now, and will use it again if I need to return to Ludwigshafen. Reasonably priced, good location, comfortable room, friendly staff. I very much have appreciated the black-out curtains and the air conditioning.

Moxy charges 18 euro for breakfast (at both of the properties in Germany where I've stayed) which is simply way too much. I paid for it this time, and the breakfast is fine. Good, even. I'd say I'd pay 10 euros for it, but it simply isn't worth 18. Must be only for people on expense accounts.

Excellent air conditioning and black-out shades. Great shower, and includes dispensers of both shampoo and conditioner. Very good location along the Rhine, and next to the Galleria shopping center. Nice to have recycling bins in the rooms. Eat at the Agra Mahal Indian restaurant a few blocks away, it is wonderful!

The bathroom was a bit worn, with a sagging and water-damaged counter. Hair dryer in bathroom didn't work well. Moxy charges 18 euro/person for breakfast, which was too exorbitant for me to try.

Originally ordered a room with just 1 bed, but when i had a friend stay over, neither me nor him was charged extra as well as it was as easy as to ask to switch to a room with 2 beds for that to happen. Overall, the staff was nice, and the tendant care was great

Pillows was a bit too hard for my taste, but that's probably just personal prefrence, other than that, i have nothing to complain about.

since the room was a little bit small, I enjoyed the downstairs area with workspaces. Mall was really close. bed was pretty comfy and cleanliness was fine. I stayed for 6 nights and I think the staff could have cleaned more eg. vacuuming the floor but apart from that cleanliness was good.

the housekeeping team spoke neither german nor english, only turkish, which was very inconvenient. they didn't understand my requests and didn't do a thorough job, once even skipped my room altogether.

Staff was amazing and friendly, Breakfast was excellent. Room was clean with the view. It’s in city centre everything is nearby.

They don’t have a laundry service, No telephone in the room, No wardrobe was there to keep your clothes, Daily essentials were not available (toothpaste, toothbrush, moisturiser etc)

I just love the Moxy concept with its bar/lobby open 24/7, super friendly staff, and best location in Ludwigshafen. Makes you rather feel at home than in a hotel. Gratis water all time is a plus.

As in many hotels, I have problems with big hard pillows, not suitable for cervical disorders. Ok for 1 or 2 nights, but for a longer stay I would bring my own.

The staff were very nice and helpful, the atmosphere was also good. I also liked that they had some salsa dancing event even though we did not attend it, but it looked fun! They also had great facilities for working remotely.

Room and toilet was dirty, there were hand prints on the toilet wall and above the bed, also the curtain had dried snot.

The breakfast was very good! The room was clean. The staff was very friendly. The location was really quiet. Close to the water.

The breakfast room was way too small. People couldn't find places and were eating standing up! The parking was not well organised. It took way to long to get on the parking spot.

The hotel is simply superb. Modern and appealing reception/bar, nicely organized halls, rooms and facilities and the rooms in minimalistic but optimal style. The ironing room was also a great addition.

I can't point out anything in particular. The only thing I was missing was hotel parking.

The beds were comfortable and the hotel staff were very friendly. The breakfast was reasonable and I didn't feel like I missed anything. The location is close to a tram station followed by a short walk.

The rooms are extremely basic, there isn't even a wardrobe to hang your clothes. You need to get a tram to get anywhere in the city, if you work for BASF it's perfect as it's a short walk to the main site.
