Exceptional location both for walking and public transport. The staff were very efficient, helpful and friendly especially the dining room staff. The breakfast offered great variety and quality produce.

The location of the property was perfect and the price was great as well. The breakfast was quite large with a lot to choose from. and the front desk staff were very accommodating and helpful to any request we had and they even gave us some nice chocolates when we checked out.

although we knew ahead of time, the hotel does not have air-conditioning and unfortunately the interior courtyard rooms don’t get a lot of ventilation, so it was a bit warm in the evening at this time of year

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful with storing luggage, checking in & out. The room was very comfy and big with a nice bathroom (small sink but great light). It's next to the main train station and multiple public transport options (underground lines, busses,...). I went to a concert at Olympiahalle and found getting there from and back to the hotel very easy and quick. Great location for everyone coming by train. It's also only 5-7 mins on foot from the historic city center.

The common areas (hallways, common area toilets) look a bit run down and didn't do the rest of the stay justice.

Breakfast had good selection and staff promptly brought coffee/tea upon arrival. Reception staff was very helpful with luggage upon arrival and had our room ready early. They also ordered a taxi for departure which showed up on time. They gave instructions in use of the S-bahn metro system and sold us some tickets for it. The location across the street from the main train station was excellent for use in getting about the city. The building is older but updated. The bathroom was clean, bright, spacious and well-appointed.

No drinking glasses in room for having a beverage from the mini bar or for brushing teeth. We were told to take a glass from the lobby but plastic glasses in the room would have been more convenient. We found no hotel instructions in the room so not sure how we were supposed to know the time deadline for requesting a breakfast box for an early airport departure. When we inquired in the afternoon, we were told it was too late so got no breakfast despite paying for one in the room rate. One of the bedside reading lights did not work. Reception was notified but it was never repaired in 3 days nor were we informed if fixture was unrepairable. Hallways and room were somewhat stuffy due to no air conditioning, which we knew in advance.

The woman at the reception desk was most pleasant at our arrival, as was the woman with the Slavic name when we left. The breakfast room is very cheerful and more spacious than we expected. The breakfast offerings are excellent and appealing. Everything worked well in our room. The bathroom is well arranged, and the towels were large. We were not sure what to expect, but the amenities exceeded our expectations. We would recommend this hotel to our friends. They will like the convenient location, too.

The room was Scandinavian style and quality, surprisingly big, with a spacious sitting area, two single beds, and was perfect for a mother travelling with adult daughter. Breakfast was also very versatile, almost a brunch, including local specialties. The bathroom had plenty of room, and the soundproofing kept efficiently out the noice of the busy city near main railway station. The service in breakfast room was excellent especially by one dark haired lady who always welcomed us with happy smile and remembered us, on our four night stay.

It was very hot weather +30 degrees, and without air conditioning the options were to sleep windows open (and suffer of the noisy travellers of the opposite hostel, shouting very loud and late at the street) or to sleep windows closed (and suffer of the heat). We chose the latter one and it was moderate and fine. With air conditioning the hotel would be a perfect choice, and normal city noice (traffic, chatting) at night is not a problem, but wonder if there are no city legislation/rules for the opposite hostel keepers to instruct their customers to follow.

Loved the location! Which is right opposite the Munich Central train station and Karlsplatz was a short walk away. The staff were also friendly and welcoming. Check in and check out process was fast and efficient; room was warm, comfortable and clean. A big breakfast spread with good coffee and tea selection. The hotel reception also sold international stamps for me to mail my postcard.

The wifi in the room is unstable and didnt work as well as I'd like. It would be great if a bottle or two of mineral water/drinking water was provided in the room since there was no kettle.

Dear Europäischer Hof I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the wonderful experience I had during my recent stay at your hotel. I was in Munich for two days and had the pleasure of staying at the Europäischer Hof. I have to say, my stay was absolutely exceptional. Firstly, the room was immaculately clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. It was such a relief to be able to relax in such a well-maintained environment. The breakfast exceeded my expectations, with a large selection of delicious food served in a beautifully carpeted dining room. The service provided by your staff was also exceptional, and they were always ready to help with any questions or requests that I had. Additionally, the hotel's location was perfect for my needs. It was conveniently close to the station, and being in the center of the city made it incredibly easy to explore and experience all that Munich has to offer. Overall, I would give the Europäischer Hof perfect 10 out of 10 rating. I truly appreciated everything about my stay, and I would highly recommend your hotel to anyone traveling to Munich. I stayed at the hotel with my friend in August. We were given a double room on the 7th floor; it was like an attic with small windows but a very beautiful view. The street on which the hotel lies is very busy at each hour of the day and night because it is very close to the city centre and station and clubs. We were on the 7th floor so the noise was not a big problem but my advice is to keep the windows closed because they are soundproofed so you do not hear anything. The room was very big, there was a desk and a chair with pen and paper to write postcards too! There were also 2 armchairs and a small table, a small fridge, a quite big tv and a safe. The bathroom was very big: there was the bathtub and 2 sinks! The hotel is completely new and clean. The receptionists are very kind and friendly. It is possible to leave the luggage at the reception the last day and come collect them before leaving. The position of the hotel is super: 200 meters from the Munich central station and 5 minutes by foot from the centre. In the surroundings you can find a lot of fast foods and bars to eat. Last but not least we had breakfast at the hotel. The breakfast is from 6.30 am and the room is big, clean, new. The breakfast is a buffet, the waiters are very friendly, the food is superb! Hot drinks as well as cold ones are served automatically at machines. There is a vast choice of salty food, vegetables, cheese, meat, eggs... The sweet food is not so much: there is a chocolate and coconut cake, croissants, juices, jam, marmelade, nutella, yogurt with a wide chioce of muesli. You can also have noodles! I highly recommend this hotel!

I would add a few sweets at breakfast because there are only croissants and a coconut cake (of course there is jam, marmelade,nutella, yogurt...) The street on which the hotel lies is busy and as a consequence it is a bit noisy but you can close the windows and you do not hear anything!

We loved everything - the location, the cleanliness, the delicious breakfast! We were a group of three female friends and felt really safe. This hotel has embraced sustainability, so there are no small bottles of shampoo but there still is a dispenser of hair/body wash soap. Also, they have a free water dispenser in the foyer! Our room faced the inner court, so it was very quiet. There's no air conditioning but the ceiling fan was enough to cool the room. Really recommend.
