B&B Hotel Nürnberg-West

The place is nice. The price was pretty good. The location is good. Pretty clean. The underground parking is good. I was traveling with my cat and it wasn't an issue. When I was trying to check in 1-2 hour before the arrival time next to the check-in machine, there was a guy who came out of nowhere and explained how everything works and that there was the a "normal" registration desk.

* I feel the price for an early check in was too high. Also the hotel wasn't busy at that time, so I do think they could do it for a cheaper price or just for free * There are no pointers to the reception desk and to the blocks with the rooms(the hotel shares the building with some other businesses). It'd be great to have them because my wife had some orientation issues because of that and I wasn't aware that there was a reception desk(Also I saw this emotion on the faces of other 2 guests who entered the building with me) * The woman on reception was talking to me in English(because I'm better with it than with German) and there were 2 other male guys who were mocking her just 1 second once I got my stuff and left. She seemed not to have been offended but nevertheless it wasn't nice

New hotel - super clean, our room was comfortable, modern and practical with views over Nuremberg. Very close to underground train about 2 min walk on line U3 and U2 which run every few minutes, so could very quickly and easily get to city. Beds very comfortable. Supermarket right around the corner. Staff friendly and good facilities. Would stay here again!

Would have been nice to have TV set up to include at least one English language TV channel (as was available at other hotels). Access to room was via a 6 digit number code which seems like a good idea but we also had to enter this same code into keypad in elevator, sometimes with strangers present.

The location is top notch - still in the city center (just 3 stops from the central train station or so) but the neighborhood seems rather quite. Everything was clean and the beds felt heavenly after spending the whole day outside. Me and my friends would definitely recommend the room for 3 we stayed in!

The only problem was heating as it appeared to be too hot. The air felt really stiff when we checked in. At the same time guests aren't allowed to open the windows during the heating season. We tried to change the settings to choose slightly lower temperature but it didn't work.

The property is very modern, the rooms are spacious enough for a short stay and beds comfortable. Super sound proof - like you cannot even hear people outside walking and nice blackout curtains, massive plus is that you can also open the windows for a bit for fresh air. We had an overnight stop in our road trip while traveling the 3 of us and two dogs (extra charge for dogs), we all could have one room with bed for all. Staff was super friendly and welcoming on reception. Can book with a late notice, flexible check in, parking garage (though you have to pay 10euro per day) and easy to get to the highway.

The only thing I would say it would be nice to know the extra costs ahead eg: dogs, parking, breakfast. Overall price and value for money is good, the only cost where I found the 10 euro for basic breakfast a little steep.

This is an example of how all B&B hotels should be like. You pay a little more than your average hotel and expect the nice aesthetic and comfort of B&B. They don't always deliver, but definitely do in this one. This one is also priced more correctly than other b&b hotels. It's located just outside of the city centre. They have limited parking spaces available, but there's a big parking lot directly across the hotel where you can park for free. The hotel is brand new and modern. Everything is state of the art. Nice interior, comfortable beds, good bathroom, good sound proofing against sound from the streets nearby.

Nothing really

Very nice hotel with modern and comfortable rooms. Quiet environment with free parking space just outside the hotel, and a Rewe supermarket just around the corner. Walking distance (25-30 mins) from the old city in Nürnberg and close to public transportation. A/C in the rooms, and really easy checkin process (we came late, but just received a code from the staff and were able to walk right into our rooms).

A fridge in the room might have been nice - and there were no options for e.g. boiling water for a cup of tea. There might have been shared kitchen facilities somewhere, but we stayed only two nights and never found out.

Room in very good condition. Both room and bathroom feels new and clean. Good coffee for breakfast. Selection of teas. Available (but not many) place to park for free near the hotel. Very good access to public transport - UBahn station close to hotel gives 2 lines to city center.

Limited choice of meals during breakfast. Eggs could go out after first hour of breakfast and are not replenished. Strange way of operating the lift (every use requires code entry) slows down every travel. Parking around is free but needed to wait for 30 minutes to get a place.

The hotel is brand new and so clean! The bed was comfortable, the pillow was springy (would have loved a second one per person, but not critical). The staff were nice, and the bar at reception was good. I actually really enjoyed the bottled mojito!

The breakfast was good, but it would have been nice to have some scrambled eggs or bacon - but it really wasn't necessary for the price. It was confusing on arrival - it's hard to see where to go from the outside and it's very unusual having the reception on the 1st floor rather than ground. So some better signage (english, german, whatever other languages are most common) would have been helpful.

Very clean room and the bed was very comfortable. The AC also was very effective in cooling the room, as it was very hot outside during our stay (26+ degrees C). We even had to turn it off as it was getting too cold! (and left it off the entire night). That's a good sign that the building is efficiently isolated. Very spacious underground parking and lots of available spots. From there, it's easy to move your luggage toward the hotel room using the elevator. The extra fee for this service was 10 Euros, which was well worth it.

Directions to get to the hotel aren't clear at all even with navigation. We arrived during rush hour and I end up driving & walking in circles searching for the hotel's entrance. Very busy area, with a lot of traffic. While this hotel uses door codes for their rooms, which isn't a bad thing necessarily. I'd still prefer to use cards. It's just more convenient and quicker to use.
