H+ Hotel Nürnberg

Very convenient location, close to the motorway, but in a quiet spot. easy to find. I was travelling with my dog, in the room we found dog treats, water and food bowls and a comfortable mattress, so I didn’t have to unpack one from the car. But the cherry on the cake was the welcome we received at the arrival: Emilio is a wonderfully welcoming receptionist. I don’t remember when last I received such a welcome 😊

The room was not sound proofed enough and some louder conversations in other rooms prevented me from falling asleep. But I am extremely sound sensitive, so it could be only me.

I start on the outside great big parking(I coming with a big Van 6m long). Not far from the Nurnburg messe. Good room At evening good food on a good price. Fantastic breakfest but not cheap.

Not a cooler in the room to set in cool drinks and or food. Bar closed at 23.00h what be too early Icoming since years to this hotel and we did evenings till 4 in the morning on the bar. Not easy to book when there be a shownearby.

Its such a lovely hotel. The staff are wonderful, so positive and willing. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is good. What most impressed me was the service. Outstanding on every level

As i had business dinners nightly and its not on the train route i spent 65 euros to and from the town. For those with a car its not an issue

First of all, the breakfast. The omelette was to die for. I would have double servings of this every single day. There are plenty of choices when it comes to breakfast and I think I tried them all and they are all good. The room is quite spacious. I was surprised first to see that the room did not have an AC unit. Then I remembered I am in Germany. The location is neither here nor there. It's good that there is a nature reserve right behind the hotel. The only possible issue one would have is that it is at least 20 minutes away from downtown Nurnberg. On the flip side, there's the 9-euro ticket so that mostly sort things out for us.

The price. It can be a bit expensive even though it is miles from downtown. Or perhaps, it was just due to timing. We stayed for the Embedded World event and at the time of booking, everywhere else was full. We were hoping to get some assistance from the front desk to arrange for some FedEx pick-ups but we were given a hard NO. That was a bit disappointing. We ended up taking all the stuff we don't really need all the way to Barcelona.

Very tasty breakfast! Great selection of local specialties like pretzels and local breads. The hotel is in a great location, very close to the Highway 6 and 9, so if you are travelling by any of those you will be in a great position to be back on the road in less than 5 min.

It was a little bit dirty, but not too bad. Also queen bed was 2 separate beds that were sliding to the sides making it a bit annoying for a couple.

- in our rooms there wasn't an AC (in the attic) and we coudn't open the window because of the rain so during night it was very hot - the receptionist didn't explain us that if we want to pay at the check-out, they will authorize our card as a deposit and it will reimbursed after. So, the next day at the check-out we had to pay again as the previous payment was just a deposit and the money will be reimbursed in about 1 hour. After seversal messages to them, we received the money after 4 days. If we knew this at the check-in, we would have paid in the first day, not to stay with that money blocked for several days. It would be usefull if the staff explain everything at the check-in.

Located just off the autobahn for a perfect stay over place when tracelling north to south or vice versa. There is a lovely forest located behind the hotel, where you can walk and dip your feet in the stream. Free parking, clean rooms, warm welcome. However the food situation is not great. The hotel food costs a lot and is not very good. There is nothing really close that's fast either. There was no A/C, no blinds to block out the sun, and it was 36 degrees hence the knock down on comfort. Else a great place with very friendly staff but a little slow on check in and check out. Recommend doing this online to speed it up.

Second time I stayed here, breaking up a journey down South and I am sure I will return also in the future. Super nice staff and great place to stay with a dog with a forrest just at the doorstep. Nice touch too to find some dog treats in the room. Also loved the breakfast for the humans :-)

Downstairs rooms are rather noisy with people arriving late and departing early. But got some earplugs from reception, which was helpful.

Comfortable beds, nice modern bathroom with a strong pressure shower. Breakfast was amazing anf worth the prices. Was everything we needed. We stayed here for the Rock im Park Festival and it didn't take super long to get there, direct S-Bahn from nearby (about 20 min walk to the station). Shops close-by and the bar at the hotel was okay.

The bed was requested to be double but it was not pushed together but tbh it was fine as the room was very warm to sleep in so we had our own spaces that way haha. Bit far to walk to U-Bahn or S-Bahn but there are buses to connect.

We enjoyed the staff personalities a lot. Great group of young enthusiastic folks.

The menu's English language translation needs a bit of an update...yet our experience with both the waiter and chef was hilarious. All great professionals and gracious. Also, there was not an electrical outlet in our bathroom. Using a curling iron was a bit interesting.....
