Very clean and comfortable with a nice terrace with view of the lake. It is very basic, but ok for one night. For a longer stay a kettle / coffemaker and a minifrigde would have been nice. We visited the restaurant on our way back and it is worth a stop; good homemade food and friendly service
Although it is right by the A1 (and that's the reason we choose it), we found it a bit complicated to find the right access, and the right petrolstation for check-in (no recetion after 20.00)

I loved the location and the view we had onto the lake. It was beautiful. Also, sitting outside on the terrace for a sunny breakfast was a treat.
The check-in experience at night could have been a bit smoother. It would be helpful if there were signs at the door to direct you to the service station for check-in during nighttime. It was hard for us to a) figure out at which service station we had to check in and b) where the service station was.

This hotel was just what we were looking for, i.e. a place to just sleep on a long drive through Germany. It's just off the motorway, it's clean, cheap has comfy beds and the rooms are surprisingly nice.
Check-in closes at 8.30pm and after that you need to pick up your room key from the petrol station nearby. Not necessarily a bad thing, but something to be aware of.

Nobody between 22:00 to 07:00 in hotel. I needed to leave earlier than 7 am and i couldnt find exit with the direction papers in german language. Needs english sign boards.
