The room is ok for the budget and did not have unrealistic expectations. We rented a room for 6 person and bed is ok. recommend those who need to resolve for night to come . Room has no kettle although the room is for one family size but hot water can be fetched from the lobby . All in all is a good place to meet budget travellers . We stay here for transition to Munich . Security is good but no sure about those who reserved only bed .

There is no kettle in the room although we booked a family room . We fetch hot water from the lobby and yes we are being skipped queue by the staff . Maybe because we are Asians .

I did not stay at this hostel for long and cannot speak for every room at A&O, HOWEVER, the room that I slept in..... was CLEAN and COMFORTABLE. I slept well (despite having had to wake up early for a flight); my bed was comfortable and the sheets were crispy clean. The bathroom and toilet were very well cleaned as well with shower gel and hair dryer provided (you had to pay for towels for anyone who needs to know). The room also had hangers, a table and mini chairs. The staff were able to put me in an all-female room, even though I missed indicating that in my booking. Overall, great experience :) I did not have breakfast and cannot speak about the food, but I like that the hostel provided easy access to the train and there were restaurant options within walking distance.

Minor detail but the lobby area and other shared spaces of the hostel will need to be cleaned more often to maintain the same quality as what I found in the rooms since the lobby is typically accessed by more people and in use more often.

1) finding hostel (they don’t reply you from booking) ; from airport (bus station is also at airport) take s2 or s3 to main station (11 stops) , than take u12 tram (tram stops at front of the hostel). You can walk from main station too but it’s 1,5 km. Easy to find, but a Turkish man i meet at airport bus station drop me by his car, they didn’t reply my finding hostel question. They said they don’t see the messages from booking.com 2) it was better than what i was expecting. Staff is nice, very clean, beds were fine 3) they let you early checkin. I came at 12, normally check in is at 3pm 4) there are WC and shower in each room.

First and foremost : if you are just traveler don’t come to Stuttgart. Because there are old castle and new palace too see. They are on same square and can’t see inside. Plus there is mercedes museum half hour from the city. Porsche museum is 1 hour from the city. (I come because i find cheapest return ticket from stuttgart) . apple store is 1.5 hour on south. Outletcity is 2 hours south of the city. ———- 1) huge hostel with 320 rooms. Lobby is not enough 2) around half of the stayers are refugees (immigrants) . German government settle them in in this hostel and pay their stay. There were people that i couldn’t understand their nationality 3) my bed’s USB broken :( (Must do reservation quick, generally it’s full)

It was very close to transportation and just across the street there was a convenience store selling drinks etc. Room was clean. My roommates were silent normal people so I was lucky, noise part depends on the people you get. Receptionist doing check out procedure was also very nice, she took her time and confirmed with booking.com whether I paid or not when I couldnt be sure, in order to prevent any double payment.

It was my first time here and it was a bit surprising to see a double bed in a 6 bed room. I was lucky that there were still available bunk beds so I didnt have to find out whether you need to sleep with a stranger in a double bed (maybe they can be seperated but I am not so sure, receptionist was also not sure, she just said "it is better to checkin as early as possible"). In a 6 bed dormitory you would expect to see 6 single beds.

the location was in a very good spot. I was very pleased with the staff. Everything I asked for was immediately available. the breakfast was a rich buffet and we were all pleased. the rooms were fully equipped and with quite comfortable beds

i had chosen a 6 bed dorm. unfortunately when I got to the room the two bunks were already occupied by other ladies. I had to share a single bed which was attached to another single bed unfortunately the lady in the next bed didn't let me finish my sleep she also had a problem with me using my mobile

The rooms were clean. A lot of facilities were available in the hostel such as guest kitchen, laundry, vending machine, cash withdrawal machine, foosball table, TV, projector, food, bar, etc. And the location was good. Near to the city center, a Subway right in front of it, supermarkets nearby, good connectivity.

One of the charging port in the bed did not work (i think it was unplugged from behind but we couldn't move the bed to plug it in). And it only had an USB slot, not a normal socket. So my phone charged extremely slow. The height of the bunk bed should be a little higher. I couldn't sit without hitting my head and I'm just 5' 9".

We love it that it is very accessible. It is near Milchhof Station. We also like that we can stay together in one room. (It can accommodate 6 persons). We really liked the coffee machine. We were able to use our 5 and 10 cents there. 😁. There is also a Vending Machine for the drinks alcoholic and non alcoholic as well as some snacks. We really enjoyed as well playing Air Hockey which cost 1 euro per Play. It is the cheapest hotel that i can find that is near the center. Just 2 U-bahn station away from bahnhof. Overall its is worth it. And we were satisfied with our stay.

The toilet was not thorougly clean. There was a brown stain in the toilet bowl. And also the mere fact that you have to do your own beddings. Maybe for the dormitory type it is okay. But if you are getting a family room or your own room it is a little bit a hassle.

Staff were pleasant and professional. Room was fine, particularly liked the enclosed shelves next to each bed! Felt secure. Location was okay, a fair walk from the centre but a tram stop nearby.

I don't think the breakfast is good value for money. Choice of fruit is poor and the toaster wasn't working. I feel charging extra for bedding is a strange thing to do and a lot of extra hassle for the guest and staff, why not just include it for slightly more? Are there really that many people who bring their own bedding?

For a hostel is very well situated and proper equipped, even for a family room.

The door from our room was not quite secure. Although it was closed, you could still press it inside to open and you could see it was not tight. Someone could have the impression that the room was not closed. Park place behind the hotel costs 15 Euro/day, although you could easily park on the street with less than half, if you check in later, let's say about 18.00 o'clock. Even if you stay longer, for days, it costs 10.30 Euro for an entire day on the street, from 08.00 to 22.00. Than from 22.00 to 08.00 the next day is free of charge. So I do not really understand what is with the 15 Euro/day price that the hotel charges. I mean, if something happens with your car while is parked in the hotel parking lot, I do not think you could held the hotel responsible...

Nice location, close to Ubahn stop and not far from Main train station. We even were able to check in a bit earlier. Room was cleaned even though we stayed only for 3 days.

There were some stains on bedding and hair. Also the door locker didn't work for two days and we had to ask workers from reception to open our room. By no reason only two beds out of four were made, so it wasn't convenient to make a bunk bed. Towels were slightly small.
