Theoxenia Caldera Hotel

The location of this hotel is fantastic. Right in the middle of Fira and close to everything! It is on a pedestrian walking street, so your taxi won't be able to reach the hotel (just something to keep in mind with luggage). The staff was excellent and super helpful- they gave us tips about where to go and what restaurants to avoid. The view from our room was spectacular of the caldera, and breakfast from our balcony was a dream! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely be returning.

There is a jacuzzi, but the water isn't warm (we went in October, so a warm jacuzzi would have been a huge bonus!). I suppose a smart tv would elevate the facilities a bit, but we were so busy we didn't really need one.

The hotel is located in central Fira, the room I was allocated was large with a very comfey bed. The room was quite with air conditioning. The balcony had amazing views of the caldera, and there was a hot tub a number of rooms down. Breakfast was amazing, I choose to have it on the balcony. There was a good choice of pasteries, breads, fruits and Crossants with Tea and Juices. Staff were very friendly and so helpful, they took the time at check in to point out all the tourist sites, what to see and where to go on the island.

Man this place is so worth it not just for the awesome view but the owner is so helpfull and passiinate with the island and culture. The location is great but the view is stunning this is a must book if you want to be in the heart of things

Very warm welcome by host. She explained everything about what we can do in Fira. Also explained about walking way. Very good view and in the evening you can the sunset.

I loved the staff!!!! They were absolutely amazing. And helpful. As a female solo traveler, they made sure I was safe in tours, in taxis and around town. Anything i need they took care of it!

Loved this place! It is located in the center of Fira overlooking the Caldera. Rooms were comfortable and the view was amazing. Management was extremely helpful and spent a lot of time with us to explain places to go and things to do. A wonderful breakfast was brought to us each morning with more food than we could eat. We were able to use the pool at the sister hotel a short walk away which was greatly appreciated on hot afternoons. Rooms were serviced daily. We really enjoyed our time in this hotel and definitely would return again.

Location was amazing. Right in the center of town (Fira) and close to everything. Surprisingly quite for being in the center of things. Amazing views from the balcony outside our bedroom - not only can you see the caldera perfectly but also the church in the center of town and the ocean on the other side of the island. You can't get this kind of view anywhere else for a few exceptions. Breakfast brought to your door in the morning,

A few more stairs than I thought but Santorini is full of stairs.

We enjoyed staying in the Old Town of Fira, and loved our view of the caldera from our balcony. Some rainy weather prevented our fully enjoying the view. The staff were friendly and helpful. Shoutout to the shuttle driver who also brought us an amazing breakfast in the morning. There isn't really any common area to gather here, and staying there did require some walking, since cars are prohibited in the Old Town. Lots of shops and restaurants in the area. They did help us arrange a 5-hour catamaran sunset tour, which was a great way to see Santorini. With 5 cruise ships in port during our stay, I see how Santorini gets so crowded.

All staff including Lydia and Constantino were great and also Andres who picked us up at the airport and brought our breakfast everyday. Lydia explained everything that we need to know about the island and they were very welcoming as well. Location is good, near the center and not many stairs unlike other hotels. Facilities are nice, rooms have everything you need. Has balcony overlooking the volcano.

Breakfast is okay but almost the same everyday. Wifi is weak sometimes, but our mobile signal is fine so was not big of an issue for us.

This Hotel was amazing. The grater amazing the staff were. So helpful he was eg. we suppose to early check out next day. He bought us breakfast at night so that we do not leave at empty stomach. so happy. Hotel has a nice terrace. room size nice and has balcony. Tips: those who book this hotel and have no heave luggage please take the local bus from airport. Its cheaper and better.
