Harris Hotel Batam Center

Hotel is just beside ferry terminal a 5 mins walk . It’s also just opposite batam mega mall . I like the staff they were accommodating and friendly . The room is clean and simple. Water pressure in bathroom was good . Swimming pool was clean . Breakfast was good , a lot of Indonesian food choices . Eggs live station . Dinner they had this like event thing and we decided to try the food . It was awesome didn’t regret. I love sate Madura . Only wished they offered shuttle service to different malls . Or shuttle service to the welcome to batam night market . Would have been good but otherwise getting a grab to go places is easy .

All my family members are satisfied with the hotel. The staff are very helpful. The rooms are very clean and neat. The bed so comfy. The breakfast are good. Plenty of choices to eat. We having problem with the connection doors, and we inform the reception, immediately they send someone up to the room and solve it. We also wanted to thanks the staff name Laras for helping us throughout the stay. She will solve the problem to make us satisfied due the room not ready upon check-in. And when check-out even though the hotel is just next to the ferry terminal but she offered us to transport to the ferry terminal as we carried so many luggage. We really have a pleasant stay. Thank you Harris Hotel Batam Centre. You trained your staff with good manners, helpful and cheerful. 👏👏👏👏👏 This is my third time staying at he hotel and I'm happy. For sure will come back again next time.

the room was spacious and even had a lounging couch. Service was exceptional - we ordered room service, went to the spa and had hotel breakfast. The breakfast spread was delightful and all the staff were very helpful, polite, and courteous. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The room furniture was slightly run down and we got some bug bites after our spa session. The wifi did not work well for some of our appliances and we had some trouble using the screen share on the TV

The unique about this hotel is, their cheerful greeting never change, they gives their very best efforts to attend and puts customer service always.. Every visits when I'm going to Batam, Harris Hotel Batam Centre had always been the best choice for me, with the view, Malls and Ferry Terminal its so convenient. And now with the new thing is they are having a BBQ at night with an amazing performance by their talented staffs. Cleanliness: 💯 Service: 💯 Staffs: 💯 (Friendly) I would strongly recommend this Hotel to my family, friends, relatives and others.

We loved the mini performance by Harris staff during the buffet breakfast. This made our day! Wide array of choices for buffet breakfast. Generally tasty. In the evening there were stalls outside the hotel, with comfortable seating areas, that allowed us to order finger food & chill.

Need to improve on the quality of certain food eg lodeh was too diluted. The pengat was too sweet. Fried rice was too bland - for improvement. Overall not too bad.

The welcoming was excellent, when we checked in. We were given welcome drink,a bottle of cookies and 1 bottle of infused water and 1 bottle of low sugar fruit juice. After making up room this was repeated the cookies,2 bottles of infused and juices The breakfast was good with alot of varieties! For a 4 STAR rating this is beyond expectation!

The LIGHTING in the room was very DIM. More BRIGHTER LIGHTS will make the room more better and feel like home 🏡

Clean and tidy rooms, and perfect location near Ferry terminal and Mega-mall (barely 3-4 mins walk to both places). Staff are nice and friendly and food is also good. Vegetarian options are available and the staff even prepared some vegetarian dish upon request. Definitely recommended for a smooth stay.

Couple of items to feedback which could have made the experience better: First is communication is a bit difficult as most staff do not speak English (even if they probably understand), but this is true for most places in Batam and not Harris specifically. Second is, they don’t seem to allow you to charge food to the room and you also need to pay upfront for the room during check in instead of at checkout as is usually done in most places. So you’re fumbling with your purse every time you eat at the in house restaurant. So it felt a bit unusual. In any case none of these are a blocking point for me to recommend this place to friends.

I love the friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was quite a spread but repetitive. Location is right beside ferry terminal so we just had to walk. So convenient. Staff gave complimentary cakes for my birthday children and sang for them too.

Swimming pool a bit too crowded and small. Toilet paper not replenished. Had to ask for extra pillow and towel everyday for my child.

Awesome reception staffs. They were cheerful, helpful & awesome. My request for non smoking rooms to connecting rooms were granted. The concierges were very helpful with our bags storage as our ferry was later time & the shuttle was fast when I requested to have it on time as not to miss our ferry. Kudos to the staffs. The breakfast spreads were fabulous & delicious. Couldn’t decide what to eat as the spreads were from one end to the other. This is my second stay. First before the Covid-19 period.

The breakfast venue is perfect Possibilities to have more variety of food spread base on the occupant ethnic group- e.g Indian cruising, Italian, especially singaporean flavour food palate

Have numerous staff with different language spoken proficiency and improve on the common Kano spoken- English so that have a better and clear understanding on the customer request or enquirers
