The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta

The location is great, there is a tunnel access to the convention center which makes everything a lot more convenient when you have exhibitions nearby. Room was great ! Noice cancellation is amazing. Bed was fantastic ! Variety of choices during breakfast, a mix of local and western food. Staff were accommodating and helpful as well.

Didnt like how the shower went super hot when we first arrived at the room. The technician came and fix it for the night. But next morning until we checked out, it was just cold water eventhough we turn the knob to the max. Maybe due to the old system. The drain have this unpleasant odour, which was bearable a short stay. But not for long stay.

The Sultan is a grand old lady - showing signs of her age but very conveniently located, comfortable, good facilities and good value for your money. Wonderful staff. Great breakfasts.

A couple of things in our room were not working -however after a call to house keeping the staff were on to it immediately and got things working again.

The room is spacious, big bed, comfortable pillows. Clean sheets and blanket. It has sofa and a leisure chair. A work desk. Lcd tv with hdmi plug. 2 complimentary beverage such as cola and pocari. It has many cabinets and closets for us to store our clothes and things. One-step away from GBK to have a nice morning run. Location far from bust roads, so it's nice and quiet.

This is a hotel that 30 years ago we couldnt afford, like it was one of high class hotel. Now affordable, clean, big size room with good breakfast (3 egg stations !) And large size swimming pool. Perfect to end Jakarta Marathon or weekend staycation. And we got upgrade from deluxe to executive floor.

Unfortunately there are downsides. Slow wifi, very old n slow lifts. They have lounges that seems only cater for older people. And only have chinese food..

I loved everything about the hotel. breakfast was good. staffs were friendly. I came here for the exhibition and the underground tunnel walkway to the exhibition centre was made it much easier for me to walk to and fro easily. the area was safe. the rooms were clean. I booked a simpler room on the first day, but they gave us an upgrade for free to match with other booking days.

I will say 5, my friend also suddenly booking another room while I stay there through reception. We really like the food and the ambience

it's just unfortunate I didnt get any information about free activities I can do while I stay there. I wish you guys giving that kind of information later on. Thank you

The hotel is big and spacious, the outdoor pool is superb.. The hotel staffs are friendly and helpfull. We have problems with the restroom at around 10pm and they directly came when we call and help us solve it.. The breakfast is good with lots of variety of Indonesian food

The breakfast is good, but need some improvement specially in the eggs station. I would advice to served eggs ready in the chafing dish (probably scramble eggs), so people who dont want to wait could still have eggs ready from the chafing dish.. this is to avoid long quequeing and 10-15 mins waits to have the eggs (based on our experience in 2 days breakfast) Will also nice to have croissant ready everyday Will also be nice to have some racks in the shower to put our amenities (shower gel, body sponge, shampoo, dll).

1. Meeting the national team of indonesia while staying there during the match of Indonesia vs Argentina... Awesome. 2. My room had been upgraded to the executive one :) 3. Great location

The hotel seems old fashioned. It could've been renovated to be more modern

location is in the heart of the olympic sports complex and park. The swimming pool is excellent but I don't see why they have to shut so early- 6.00pm. The hotel has a chinese restaurnant serving authentic food and shopping malls are in walking distance

the staff was so friendly. We were arrived a little bit too early for the check in at 8 am and the staff give a courtesy to allow us free check in at 9 am as it supposed to be 12 💕 the bed is comfie and the view is nice too

the hotel might be a little too old as it has been here for long time but it doesn’t affect our stay
