Green Hill Boutique Hotel

Quite well located hotel on the main strip and a short walk from everything you'd need. The receptionist gave me a good price for the day trip out to the Komodos Islands (which I highly recommend). It was 9 hrs out on the boat at 6 different locations. Rooms were clean and mine had a view out to the harbour which was nice. You can hear the prayers in this area but that's to be expected anywhere, but definitely can't say it was that loud. There was a nice looking restaurant but I didn't get a chance to try it. They also change money there which was very convenient.

Hot water took a while to heat up but nothing unusual for the area.

I like this hotel. I requested and received a harbour view room. The staff are friendly, helpful the rooms are as pictured...clean, light and airy. Useful having a nice cafe serving espresso coffee and juices on the ground floor. Good WiFi enabling streaming. Although small in choice, the breakfasts were very tasty and filling.

Well, this is not the hotel's fault.. and they do warn you before booking, but due to the location, nights and early mornings can be a little noisy making for disturbed sleep, especially the call for morning prayer before 4am. But hey, this is Indonesia. There is no tv in the rooms, but for me, that's a plus. Ac remote a little hit and miss. Minor stuff. All around, very happy.

the location was right in the middle of the city Center and close to everything especially if you have planned the boat trip and the port is 2 mins walk from there. the staffs are super friendly and they help you to carry your luggage to the room as all the rooms are situated on the hill which provides better view of the harbour. there is a cafe on the road level and a restaurant above it. food is delicious.

be aware of the mosque sound 4 times a day and they do one at 3am in the morning. staff warned us about the music from the nearby pubs on the weekend but we didn’t stay on the weekend so didn’t experience that.

AC is too strong, even on the lowest level. During my stay, 2 people in our dorm got sick. And I even had a bed far away from the AC. It was written here that breakfast for hostel guests would be 45000. But that's without service fee and taxes. And every morning the price for the breakfast was a bit different. One morning it was 51000, one morning 52, another morning 46 and one morning they even wanted 80 because they charged extra for the coffee which was included all other mornings.

This place is amazing. Me and 5 other friends needed a last minute place to stay in Labuan Bajo after leaving our Komodo cruise boat early, and we booked 2 different rooms + 2 dorm beds here, and everyone was really satisfied of their room. We didn't hear the noise of the street too much despite being in the dead center of Labuan Bajo and the live music around stopped at 10pm. Just bring earplugs in case you're highly sensitive to noise. The bed was extremely comfortable, the rooms very good-sized, good AC, plenty of hot water and it was very clean. It felt like luxury after a boat full of cockroaches 😂. The man at the reception was really nice also. We'd definitely come back here if ever again in Labuan Bajo.

Minor details are the breakfast that was very simple and not great and wifi that did not seem to work in the room (we have unlimited data though so we didn't care).

It was a very cosy and clean hotel. The best shower quality I had in Indonesia - hot water and good pressure: such a pleasure after traveling in Indonesia for weeks. The view to the harbor was also very beautiful. The breakfast was very delicious and the restaurant very nice decorated, so you enjoy eating there as well. The hotel is located at the main Street so its walking distance to everything important. The rooms themselves are not located directly at the street, but in the building behind the reception and the restaurant so you still have a relaxed and relative calm stay with the advantages of central location. Very good stay, unfortunately only one night this time, next time hopefully longer!

Beds are super comfortable and you have a lot of privacy. Lockers are provided with a key and bed number. The AC works very well and the rooms are super clean. The staff is friendly and professional. One of the best hostels over ever stayed in!

There are only two toilets and two shower for 12 people but to be honest this wasn’t a problem for me since I never had to wait for the toilet or shower. The shower pressure is not very high and the water is lukewarm but this didn’t bother me, hence the 10/10 rating.

Good location on main street, yet away from biggest noise, as you have to climb away from the street to your room. Our room was at the very top, which was a bit too much in that heat 😃 There was a rack for drying the clothes. Sitting place outside the room.

AC was dripping onto the bed frame. Not much but yet. Walls need repainting. No wardrobe. Music during breakfast was way too loud and annoying. I guess they were competing with all the noise from the street? Wasn't working.

Great location, close to restaurants and main road. The staff is super friendly. The bed is comfortable. Free water and bananas everyday. Locker is free and the lock is already provided. Drying rack is available, very important when staying for a long time. Very affordable for staying more than 2 days, I have nothing to complain about the price.

Not so much on the property but another guest almost fall from the top bunk bed.

I've read reviews with some noise complaints, but we had a room in the upper story behind the veranda, and it was perfectly quiet up there. The facility is beautifully designed and a pleasure to wake up to. They keep it fastidiously cleaned. We also enjoyed the simple but tasty breakfast (rather nice tumeric-seasoned tofu scramble!).

There's some light pollution through the windows depending on where your room is, especially as the curtains are not very thick.
