Eileen was a lovely warm host who welcomed us into her beautiful home ,our room Wisteria was delightful and charming,bed was so comfortable and everything was in room and en-suite to make our stay enjoyable.The breakfast was fabulous and such an array of delicious food on offer all served by Eileen herself ,her homemade jam,fruit compote and bread was so lovely as well as full cooked breakfast,fresh fruits ,cheeses ,cereal all on offer along with tea,coffee etc. We loved our stay at College Hill and hope to return again

Our room was beautifully furnished and a very relaxing space. The gardens were very pretty to walk around and the flowers very abundant. The breakfast was one of the best we've ever had and laid out to perfection in the breakfast room. Eileen was the most perfect host and looked after all her guests with care making sure everyone was OK and enjoying their stay. Our only issue was our stay was not long enough. We would not hesitate to stay here again!

College Hill House is an exquisite garden centre and working farm in a bucolic setting a few minutes drive from Slane Castle and Distillery. It's a fine base for exploring the ancient sites that Counties Neath and Louth have in abundance. Eileen and Bruce are absolutely charming hosts who not only went out of their way to ensure our comfort but also plied us with information about the surrounding district and called for a dinner reservation at one of the few establishments they knew would be open on a Tuesday evening. The House itself is beautifully furnished and cared for and our accommodations were spotlessly clean, comfortable and - as one might expect in this setting - peaceful and quiet. The gardens are glorious even in very late summer and our stop here was a wonderful respite at the end of a very active two week trip. We will be back!

We chose to stay at College Hill House for our last night in Ireland because it is just 40 km north of Dublin airport, but we wish we hadn't - because of our early flight time we missed breakfast! So next time we'll make sure that we stay for at least two nights!

College Hill House is an absolutely beautiful house full of quaint guest rooms, a charming dining area, and gorgeous gardens. Our room was comfortable and spotless with modern amenities. The dining room was elegantly spread with a delicious breakfast, which our host fixed for us a bit early as we at a 9am tour at Newgrange. She made many of the food items herself- including the yogurt compote and granola. Eileen was accommodating, fun, and informative. If had been able to stay longer, it would have been nice to chat more. She does all the work on the gardens surrounding the house and they are just lovely. We really enjoyed walking the grounds and taking in the beauty. In the morning, I was able to spot several bird species as well. The house is located just 15 minutes from Newgrange, making it ideal for travelers driving in for a tour the next morning. We would definitely stay here again if in the area!

College Hill House is one of the best B&B we have stayed in so far. The house is beautiful, but what makes it such one is the hospitality of the owners, Aileen and her husband. Aileen made our stay a beautiful experience. She has shown us places to visit around Slane and the room we slept over two nights was very clean and cozy.

Nothing that I can recall, except that we will miss the company of our hosts.

Beautiful Georgian house tastefully and impeccably furnished set in gorgeous gardens and rolling countryside. Lovely bedroom with a great shower en suite. Breakfast was delicious with ample choice and complimented with homemade bread and jams. It was a pleasure to meet Eileen and Bruce and we appreciated their warm and friendly welcome. We definitely recommend a stay here and hope to return soon.

Exceptional place to stay! Beautiful house in a great location with stunning gardens and serving delicious home made produce. Breakfast was a treat, the room itself and bed were very comfortable with a lovely bathroom. The hosts are so warm and welcoming and made me feel at home. I can’t think of anything else one would want - except to stay longer! An enormous thank you, very special people, truly one in a million. I am so glad I discovered this gem & I look forward to planning a return visit.

We loved the hospitality and the warm welcome from Eileen. It is a beautiful house and the gardens were lovely to explore. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast table was spectacular. Lovely touches with the homemade bread and jams. Eileen was a great host, we would certainly recommend a stay at College Hill House. Great location for weddings at Tankardstown House.

The hosts were friendly and so accommodating. The breakfast was amazing and so much choice. The room was clean and big and the bed extremely comfortable. I would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again.

EVERYTHING 🥰 The property was exceptional, gardens were beautiful and ever so peaceful. Our room was large and spacious with three windows looking unto the beautiful gardens and beyond. It was tastefully decorated in keeping with the age and country style of this 200 year old property. Just absolutely loved everything about this property ❤️
