The hotel is very central for walking around dublin The breakfast was expensive but very good apart from Service was slow and they forgot to bring items we ordered

The walls between rooms are thin so you hear everything . I had a couple at 11.30 having a conference call with usa the hotel didn't deal with it Correctly and the manager offered me Water as compensation also charged me for my friends breakfast even when the reception staff told me they would compensate for the noise as we Paid over 220 per night without breakfast. We are blonde but found hair near shower also If the manager had offered to refund the last night I may dispute with my credit card

Our suite was lovely, and spacious. The executive lounge was brilliant, and always well stocked. The staff were extremely friendly and dealt with an issue we had promptly and effectively. They went out of their way to apologise for the issue with our heating, and provided us with a complimentary breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. This attitude and high level customer service would be a reason we would return. They are excellent in dealing with issues/complaints, and resolving them.

Unfortunately our heating was not working for the first 2 days, and thus was absolutely freezing in the room. In saying this, it was rectified, and another room was offered plus complimentary meals. So the staff more than made up for this.

The communication skills, warmth and assistance offered by your staff were excellent. Position, decor, comfort, cleanliness, spaciousness were strengths. Cleaning staff must put a great deal of effort into making rooms so pleasant.

The accounting/billing system.seemed to be confusing. Adding on hundreds of euros in anticipation they might be used and need to be taken off is very strange. Obviously difficulties in the past must necessitate this policy, but confusing. And now our responsibility to see if our bank has kept on some extra charges or not.

It's a beautiful boutique hotel with a very stylish look. The room has a good size, comfortable bed, functional bathroom surrounded with outstanding design furniture. The room also has robe, slippers, coffee machine, kettle, toiletries, iron,... Everything you need is available. Staff are very welcoming, professional and helpful - a 10/10! Food in the restaurant was nice, I had a delicious soup and vegan pasta. The breakfast selection is good too. This is my 2nd time in this hotel and I will definitely come back here every time I visit Dublin. Thank you The Alex staff for making my stay enjoyable!

The heating is a bit loud but when I sleep I wear ear plugs so it didn't bother me during my sleep.

Very modernised design. Loved the hotel lay out especially the secret garden. Very aesthetic.

Staff was a little unfriendly as compared other hotels I’ve stayed in. And parking at an external car park was quite expensive.

Location was great for us as we could walk to the Aviva for concert. Breakfast and evening meal was fab.

We had a bad experience with one Manager. We ordered a drink , it arrived and was paid for at the table. About 10 min later the same order of drinks out to our table, we hadn't ordered it. We took it anyway and paid for it at table. The server came a few min later and asked was it paid for. We said yes and he went away. Then a Manager came out ,slapped the bill down on the table and said twice that it was not paid for. There were people sat around us, looking on, and it was very embarrassing. We showed him the receipts and he still said it wasn't paid for. Then he just walked away, without apologising. It ruined what was up until then, a lovely stay.

We are a family of 4 and they were able to give us adjoining rooms since I wasn't able to book one room big enough for all of us (not sure if they even have any or they were all booked). We booked a suite for one of the rooms and it was fabulous. The suite was very large and also include special access to a room stocked with free alcohol and snacks between 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM. The location of the hotel was pretty good as well. Coffee shops and a small grocery store close by (also a coffee shop in the hotel). Grafton Street and Temple area were within a reasonable walking distance.

Our room was on the corner of the building that was close to a pub across the street. The pub was so full that it spilled out into the street and was quite noisy until about 1:00 AM. It wasn't horrible though, as we were still able to fall asleep.

The atmosphere was beautifully relaxed. The beds were amazing. It was clean and the staff very attentive. AND...our flight arrived so early in the am, and they accommodated us immediately upon arrival so we could sleep and enjoy the rest of our day after our nap. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Can't think of much! Would love to not have had to run across the street to go to the gym, but that definitely was not a dealbreaker.

Room was brilliant and to be perfectly honest it was the best night's sleep I'd had in a hotel ever. Wife loves her coffee and after some struggling with the coffee maker made her a very nice cup of coffee. Bathroom was excellent with decent shower and all the mod cons you'd expect No outside noise that I heard and room doors closed quietly unlike in some other hotels where the room doors slam shut. Didn't have s meal there but brekky was more than adequate and plentiful. Staff were very friendly and helpful

Bit expensive for 1 night. Had to get staff to reset fuses to plugs on t room, by the time they arrived I had done it. Tripped a further time after that, suggested to front of house staff to check out electrics in the room. Parking was a fun event, about 10pm away is a secure carpark under some apartment block, there was a car lift in it, first on id ever seen, didn't try it but pafking was TIGHT and cost €15 a night, something they never mentioned on their blurb!! .

It was very nicely decorated, the bedroom was very large, but it was the bed itself that was the real winner. My partner is 6'3" and he has never stayed in such a large bed before. He's spoiled now. He actually didn't come out with me that night as planned so he could stay in the bed

I ate in the restaurant with a friend and the prices were astronomical. €100 for 2 and we didn't even get starters or two desserts, daylight robbery. They also refuse cash payment
