I liked everything about the property; the location is 5 minutes walking from the Como train station, close to Como Parks, few minutes away from the lake, everything is close the hotel. Ms. Carolina was kind to enable our check in before arrival. The room is clean, all machines are available ( iron, washing machine, coffee machine, boiler, fridge...) The receptionist was so friendly and helpful. I love everything about La Perla hotel

Location, Cleanliness, easy check in.

Parking behind the property was full and closed and no other parking available in the area except the supermarket 90min parking limited slots.

Lovely, very attentive, and helpful staff. Amazing location right by a park with a large playground, trampolines, paid marry-go-round and kids train, the lake, a 24/7 supermarket, and a parking lot. Quite spacy apartments, spacious terrace, new, didn't miss any appliances. Large bathroom. Good wi-fi (for working from the terrace). Self-check-in.

Tiny little details you see when you have kids - light in the shower only goes on along with the fan (loud), no place to put the baby cot without either showing yourself to the baby or without him being able to climb out of the cot against some wall or a sofa. Very small bins that got full every day. And the floor wasn't very clean - probably just vacuumed, not washed. Our socks were rather dirty after a few steps.

The location is perfect for access to the lake and the city. The staff is friendly. Amenities were provided, which is a plus for an apartment rental. Towels are changed upon request and available in the reception.

It is difficult to say I didn't like, but one of the things that could be better is the cleaning. The tile floor collects a sort of "dust" that is difficult to clean. It is not a problem if you are not travelling with small kids. But if your kids croll and play on the floor, it can become a problem. The shower head and the washing machine detergent compartment in the apartment we've stayed in showed some signs of mould. The other thing that could be better is the kitchen equipment. A good kitchen knife should be provided, as well as maybe a small pan as well.

The location of the property was fantastic walking distance to everything in Como. The real star of the show was the wonderful Federica who really made our trip with the best advice and her friendly helpful manner. I can’t thank her enough especially for the info on the ferries & timetables which we’d found so complicated to understand before it made all the difference on the day we went on the lake where we saw so many other people struggling! The big balcony of the apartment also great for sitting out with a drink definitely recommend upgrading to a 1 bed! thank you for taking such good care of us Federica and being so responsive was great to finally meet you in person! 🙂 x

A little expensive but to be expected in Como and for the quality and location actually much better value than many other places we saw of a lower standard.

Great location, generally quiet room, spacious, lots of amenities and appliances, comfortable bed and you can get the room very dark for sleep. Very easy to reach the rooms with lots of luggage. Well secured building and rooms. Big bathroom and balcony with a great view of the small park at the back. Ice cream shop on the ground floor, helpful host.

the bathroom isn’t well ventilated and has this moldy smell (although no mold present), plus the fan makes a lot of noise when its on and you can hear it all the way from the bed. The kitchen table and chairs could benefit from soft leg caps in all the rooms, as we could hear tables and chairs being dragged along the floor from even two floors up.

We have stayed at La Perla several times. We request a particular room (with a lovely verandah) and staff always happy to assist. Great communication. We return because the staff are friendly and helpful and the room and large bathroom are always clean and well presented. A clean and reliable modern washing machine in our room is important too when travelling. Clean and modern kitchen and a grocery store nearby too. If you need a taxi there is a loading area outside so you can load bags safely and off of the road. Easy walking distance (with your suitcase) to either Como San Giovanni or Como Nord Lago. The ferry terminal is an easy 5 min walk too with a fantastic gelati shop across the road from the ferry terminal.

very central location, all amenities in the apartment and lovely balcony although ours was at the back. very clean and modern. loved the ice cream at the bottom too!

these are very small, it was a little cold at night and we only had a sheet and the shower water was only warm which is great in the summer but I like my shower hot, very small things as the property was great!

The check-in process was really smooth and I had a warm welcome when I arrived. The room is well decorated and pretty spacious. I didn't use the kitchen facilities but they looked good. The shower was good and the bed was super comfortable. The location is ideal to get to either the centre of Como, the train stations or the ferries to explore the Lake. The TV was good and let me watch Champions League football in Italian whilst eating a pizza from a nearby restaurant (Pizzium) whilst sat on the bed.

These are really small points that I'm not too fussed over and are probably individual to me, but perhaps easy improvements for the future. They are by no means reasons to not book! 1. The room was really hot at night. The thermostat in the room kept resetting when I tried changing the temperature and it seemed the temperature was set at a master building level. I had to sleep without covers mainly. 2. The room could do with better lighting I think, especially the bathroom. In part, I have pretty bad eyesight when it's dark which doesn't help. It was also a bit confusing because there are so many different switches it's hard to remember which is the right ones to use. 3. USB ports would be really, really useful.
