Good size and clean

No dressing table mirror. The number of wedding/functions encroached on other guests access to facilities such as the pool area with early closures for example

Superb views of Etna and over the bay and sea, this was the best part about the hotel and enjoying a few drinks at the front in the sunshine. Location was perfect, on the edge of the town. The rooms were fine, the traditional decor is part of the charm of the hotel. Staff were all great.

Some upgrading needed to the rooms as look a little tired in parts but nothing major. The pool needs a good clean due to the dirty rim around the edge. The outdoor area leading to the pool is beautiful, though seems underused which is a shame. The breakfast - fruit and pastries were delicious but overall I think the breakfast for a four star hotel was a bit of a let down. The scrambled eggs did not look consumable.

Ada at the front desk is soooo wonderful, full of information and patience., Always smiling and helpful. Her English is very good especially for the area. Marias (sp) in the restaurant is a young and interesting man, we thought he had worked for the Hotel for a long time. Helped with the menu and was fun and had suggestions for things to do. He informed us he had only worked for the hotel for a very short time..2 weeks! We liked to location for driving to little outer areas and exploring. Etna and farms and a funny little pub bar above that consists of many….ummmm .. male organ displays and jokes if you will?

The parking was at first an “issue”. only because of the language barrier and our inability to understand how it actually worked with the on premises parking. We missed the correct exit on the round about and ended up wayyyyy up the mountain looking down at the hotel. Called and got the information we needed. If you aren’t sure of what you are doing CAll !! They are very helpful!!

perfect location, great swimming pool with the most gorgeous view. Great breakfast and the food served by the swimming pool is delicious. Angelo makes the best coffee at the bar by the swimming pool. He deserves a promotion and pay rise for his courtesy and attentiveness.

The coffee served at breakfast needs improvement. it’d not good. However the one that Angelo serves by the swimming pool is delicious. The TV in our room didn’t work and the reading lamp hovering over our heads above the bed was not comfortable. All these things didn’t impact the enjoyment of our stay but need pointing out.

Really well located at the entrance to the pedestrian area of Taormina. Accessible by car with free valet parking service in the nearby public covered parking. The property has a gorgeous Garden with a splendid view on the Aetna and on the sea. Large Pool (not open yet during our stay before Easter).

The rooms and their bathrooms would need a serious renovation, although everything was working fine.

Ambience fab, rooms clean and Breakfast was great.

Pool drinks on the expensive side, 6 euros for a coke. Also when there was a wedding being set up they are clearing the pool furniture away whilst you’re sitting there and it makes you feel like you’re in the way. Same in the bar

Location was great, 2 minute walk from the Main Street

Awful small room for the price we paid, tiny window no natural light, no mirror just a dressing table. Pool was a long walk down from the hotel and we were moved at 5 pm for wedding parties. Breakfast was poor for a 4 * hotel, quality not great. Coffee was from a machine you had to ask for a proper cup of coffee

- the historic building and the beautiful park - the view - rooms are nicely decorated - breakfast was delicious, especially the pastries

- the warm was too warm (i travelled in december) - the first room I stayed had a strange mechanical background noise, but they were kind enough to offer me another room which was fine

The room had a balcony. I had a corner room with an amazing view of the bay and hills, the size of the room was very generous. The pool and gardens were excellent, also with great views.

The room and the hotel could do with a fresh coat of paint
