the location is perfect. The staff so welcoming and friendly. The food is above average and great value compared to other nearby resorts. There’s a nice laid back and peaceful vibe all throughout. And the wifi is strong throughout the entire property which is was a pleasant surprise. I enjoyed walking throughout the property as there are many fruit trees that you can help yourself to or like I did, have one of the grounds keepers help get mangos, neesberries, sweetsop, plums, and even breadfruit! OMG the cliffs! Hands down, best view, best cliff diving spot, best caves, best access to beautiful coral & colourful fish. Better than Ricks cafe which was only a 25 mins fun walk with lots of places you stop and either take in the scenery or grab a drink or even a little shopping.

The cliffs were beautiful! I thought swimming would be a problem but it was wonderful! The view from the cliffs is spectacular. Restaurant was good, order the lobster! Bar is beautiful and friendly. Rick's not far for a fun night out. Xtabi has an older clientele. Garden side is beautiful and QUIET! Plus the swimming pool is on the garden side. Great value for the money.

Can't really say I disliked anything about Xtabi.

Everything from check-in to the comfort of the room.All was fantastic,room is very clean staff are friendly and kind the bed is so comfortable omg not to mention the nice hot water in the shower everything was great,I had extend my stay to an extra night.I don't even know what the face sign mean but everything was excellent hope I have mark the correct one.

I forget to go get food to eat Saturday night bcuz I fell asleep the bed was too comfortable to get out.

The location was outstanding. It gave me the feeling of being in Jamaica because I was able to eat authentic Jamaican cuisine and interact with the locals on a more personal and daily basis.

The only drawback was the Wi-Fi was intermittent and weak in certain areas of the property. This was also a good thing because it allowed me to disconnect from my normal everyday home life.

Location is nice, it's in the less touristy side of Negril but there are still some nice local and more tourist centres restaurants around. Accommodation is decent enough for a few nights stay. Their Restaurant across the way is also nice especially for sunset. Staff friendly, WiFi good outside of the room, some of us got good signal on the room though. Pool looked OK but didn't see anyone use it, place was quiet, parking available.

Took a while to check in even though we arrived after check in time the rooms werent ready.

The location across the street from the cliffs at Xtabi was amazing. The staff was friendly. I was only there for 2 nights but it was very comfortable and I would stay again. The cooperation between the restaurant across the street and the hotel was obvious and helpful.

Not all rooms have AC The one I booked did not (on accident). It was extra for AC and I paid it. The pool was not cleaned out and didn't look inviting. I didn't want to swin there anyways when the most beautiful ocean is across the street but it was worth mentioning.

Extabi is the gem of the west end. I total enjoyed my 6 week stay. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, loved the ackee and other fruit trees next to my room. I stayed in two different rooms during my stay,1 pool side and 1 cliff side and both offer their own charm that is truly a Island experience not found at some other hotels. The manager Dave is hands on and interacts with the guest daily , I enjoyed the fact he takes the time to talk to all the guest and makes you feel welcome. All the staff are a pleasure to be around and always have a smile and a kindness that makes you feel you are part of the family . They have a great food service and there was not a meal I could finish due to the over flowing helpings of perfectly prepared dishes. I had breakfast, lunch and dinner daily and never tired of the menu. Beautiful views of the sea and sunsets.I had some of my best snorkeling ever steps away from our room on the cliffs. I have been traveling to Jamaica for 50 years and have stayed all over Negril and I can truly say you could not find a better home away from home than EXTABI. Loved the location being so close to the cliff and water. Being able to walk through the caves and enter the ocean from there, or being able to go to the lounge chairs and ladders. Staff was courteous and food was amazing.

It doesn't tell you, but you need $20usd for a key deposit. And there was a dirty pair of what looked like shorts(didn't pick them up) from the last guests left in one of the closets.

Amazing location. I recommend an ocean front room. The sea is right there with amazing sunset views. Great food. Wonderful snorkeling. Rooms were a little worn down (and that is why I give a 9). Also, we really liked the staff there. They went beyond our expectations to help us out in so many occasions. We would definitely stay here again since it was a paradise. We swam for hours and watched the sun set every night. Cliff jumping was also very fun!

Absolutely nothing we did NOT like! (Other than having to leave!) Fabulous location, beautiful surroundings, great food, wonderful staff.

A coffee maker in the room would've been nice, but we managed just fine.
