The bed is really comfortable and the view is incredible. The place is in a great location, easily walkable to the beach and lots of good restaurants and bars but far enough down the road that it's peaceful when that's what you want. The hosts were friendly and helpful, they put me on to a lot of experiences and places I wouldn't have seen otherwise.

I really can't say anything negative. This was a great place to stay, especially for solo travelers

the host is very kind. a good guy from Italy living in Jamaica. he is a dj and loves to train in his own gym. Besides that he is a very very great cook. His pasta’s are incredible for a good price. Next to this he knows a lot of guides from the area and true him he can fix a good price. the place is a house wich you share with him and possible to other rooms/guest. its nice and clean with a good bed. you dont really need a car but i recommend you to be more flexibel at this location

I really love the location of this accommodation. It’s in the main road so it was easier to take a taxi just infront of the gate. I felt very safe. Boston beach and very good jerk chicken and jerk pork places are few minutes walk from the accommodation. The room was big and the bed comfortable. It was better than I expected it to be. I really love this accommodation and extended even my stay. The water in the shower is hot. The host and his family are so helpful and super nice!!! The vibe was so positive and I felt very welcome. This was my best guesthouse experience. My host and his wife always made sure everything was fine with me. I really really enjoyed this place and next time when I’m in Portland I will sleep here again. It’s a 10 of 10.

It was better than I expected.

We had a great time at Alfio‘s place! The location is perfect near to wonderful beaches. Boston Beach is amazing and you can walk there, the other locations are easy to reach with route taxis. The beaches are often really empty and you can enjoy. Alfio picked us up from the Knutsford Terminal and dropped us there again, even at 5 am. Besides he made the best Pasta for us! We felt very welcomed!

Wow we what can we say, we had an amazing 3 days here at Toga Guest House and it was truly superb. Alfio and Althea are just wonderful hosts, they make you feel like family instantly. The food is beyond delicious and to have fresh good coffee in the am perfect. We stayed in the large double room with sea view, hot and cold water, perfect... Everyone is so helpful.... we got to experience fresh fish cookedby Alfio for breakfast, a great vinyl night and a lift back to Kingston. We shall be back...

Where do I begin, it's like a home away from home. I have been to guesthouses and some I feel bothered a bit or lack privacy. We were in the front room just of the main entrance and even though we were at the front the privacy was beyond expectation. We were unbothered which we loved. The cleanliness was top notch I had no complaint and I have been to all inclusives and wipe down areas. The room we selected was queen bed with private bathroom. It's exactly as you see it online. There is no ac but you dont need it you get two fans, moveable fans. We had hot and cold water but we never used the hot water as its summer and the cool water from the tap is so refreshing. Beautifully decorated. Loved the hospitality The living room section is beautifully decorated, I was able to move around through the guesthouse unbothered. Just like home(had to be repeated). we even had the opportunity to wash our beach wear and hang them out to dry. If you want a home away from home it's a must stay. I highly recommend Toga. It is like 28 minutes to Sommerset falls, reach falls and about 20 minutes to roots 21 and Portantonio. But blue lagoon which we went is 12 minutes away. Boston jerk center is 4 minutes walk and Boston bay beach is 2 minutes walk, we did not go to the beach as we have many in our home town, we wanted to try the hearts of Portland.

The colours of the room were stunning. The hosts were lovely. They invited us to the party they were going to have down the road, unfortunately we were too tired to make it out. Lovely stay.

The floor felt soft/flexible in places. I know it's sturdy and fine and my significant other laughed at me, but my anxiety worried about going through it.

Absolutely recommend!! Alfio and Althea are so kind, honest and genuinely good people. They were so welcoming of their home. Great hosts and great energy! I felt like family! Clean, safe and comfortable home, location is great too. Alfio is this amazing Italian chef, Althea is a great cook too - we ate delicious meals!! Alfio offers airport transfers, he took me exchange USD to JMD and get a mandatory Covid test in Port Antonio prior to flying back to the states. Everything was simple and easy to do because of Alfio and Althea. Very grateful!! All around such a great trip, Alfio and Althea went above and beyond! Stay at TOGA! Location to Port Antonio is a nice scenic 20min drive. Boston Beach is a 5 min walk. Blue Lagoon, Frenchman’s Cove, Winnifred, Rio Grande, Reach Falls is a drive away. Beautiful nature and scenery all around you. 100% recommend TOGA! Island vibes. Absolutely relaxing. I could have stayed a few more days for sure but I can’t wait to go back!! Thank you guys for everything, so grateful 🙏🇯🇲

Clean. Affordable. Near beach and food facilities. Cool enough for just a fan although it's summer. Great host, like a home away from home.
