Richmond Hotel Premier Asakusa International

I am appreciative for the fact that the hotel Upgraded our stay, It was unexpected. I love how easy it was to check in and check out, the staff are amazing. Free coffee, the house keeping was superb! I have nothing but nice things to say about our stay. My family and I decided on our next japan trip we would still be staying here, this is now our home away from house. Also the location is absolutely stunning, temple, donqui, food places, shops, train stations are just a walking distance and what I also like about this place is during night time its quiet and peacefully. Thank you Richmond for giving us a corner room with top notch view, my kids was very happy. It was a great stay! We will be back Richmond Hotel Premier Asakusa and you will still be our #1 choice.

All the rave reviews about the hotel are spot on. Location is ideal for tourists - sightseeing and shopping and restaurants abound. Highly recommend the premier triple room for beautiful views of Senso-ji and Skytree. Easy walking distance to transportation (even my kids could do the walk while pushing along their own luggage). The coffee in the lobby is delicious, and the breakfast buffet that we went to for one day was delightful. The service as excellent. When I accidentally left my Kindle behind in the room, they kindly found it and carefully shipped it back to me. Thank you so much, and we hope to come back again someday soon!

Not a big deal, but I wish the amenities weren't at the front desk so that every time I needed something, I had to go to the front desk and disturb the hotel employees.

Location. Location. Excellent, all that you need are within reach. Food, restaurants, stores, mall. It’s basically all there. Uniqlo is below the hotel while Don Quijote is just across it. Coffee is free flowing from 8am-10pm. Lobby is spacious where you can lounge anytime. Staff is accommodating and able to communicate without difficulty.

A little bit far from the train station, 15minutes or more, but not really that bad since you will be passing by the stores within Asakusa and view is very good. Taxi is readily available also.

This is our second time staying at this hotel. It's definitely worth booking a room with Skytree view as it's so lovely and relaxing looking out of the window at night when everything is lit up. There is a good selection of food for breakfast and a coffee machine in the lobby to help yourself to free coffee during the day. There are vending machines, microwaves, and laundry rooms on various floors. The location of this hotel is great for a mixture of temples, shrines, and shops. A short walk to the train and metro, so it is easy to travel to other parts of Tokyo.

The staff was very helpful. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The hotel's location was also excellent. Short walk to the Tsukuba Express subway Station. The Akihabara Station is only 2-stops away and very easy to go anywhere in Tokyo from there.

The room wifi connection was not very good. Almost every day the wifi was connected but not connected to the internet. Better to use the free wifi in the hotel's lobby & restaurant.

Location is great, always loved staying in Asakusa area and the walk to the train station is never boring going through the many shops and interesting areas along the way. The electronic check out was very convenient, no need to wait for long lines. Free coffee in the lobby is also a nice amenity.

It would have been great if they had ice machines on all levels instead of just the 2 designated levels. There were also a couple of nights when used cups were left in the room or not enough new towels were left but was rectified very quickly after I called in.

Very good location and reasonable price. The room was clean, the staff was so kind and helpful. Breakfast was quite good. There was coffee in the lobby almost whole day and it was complimentary. There is iron in the room. Laundry service for a good price and microwave are also available.

We have reserved the room for 3 people (my husband, me and my 8 year old son), so we were expecting the bed to be bigger. It was quite small for 3 people, so we couldn't sleep very well. If you are travelling with your child, you should consider to arrange a room with 2 beds. Additionally, there was just a very small space for the clothes which wasn't enough.

I lost my neck pillow inside room. Looked everywhere (it is a small triple sharing room). Told the front desk about it, they said they would ask the cleaning staff. So it was not seen until we checked out. But suddenly, upon arrival back in our country, i got an email while still in airport saying they found my neck pillow!

The hotel is well-located in a relatively quiet part of Tokyo, but with direct access to plenty of dining options, sites, and the metro. We had a 27sqm room on the 13th floor which was spacious (for two people) and quiet, with a wonderful view of the Tokyo Tower, Asakusa Shrine, and the Golden Poo. There were tons of outlets for charging devices. I appreciated that the toilet, sink/vanity, and shower/tub were all in separate areas. The bidet had pinpoint accuracy with every setting we could have wanted. I loved the shower room with its wand and adjustable water pressure, and the soaker tub was amazing. The blackout curtains overlap so there’s no gap. The sink/vanity has a retractable shade installed behind the mirror that can act as a divider between the bed and bath areas when pulled down, while still allowing the room to feel open and large when retracted. The amenities were excellent; I am now a convert where the exfoliating cloths are concerned. The level of daily housekeeping (full, eco, or none) can be selected via the TV, along with additional amenity requests. We also found our favorite TV channel: the laundry channel, on which the status of all hotel washing machines may be viewed for ease in determining whether the machines are occupied and how much time is left to complete a cycle. I wish every hotel would offer this. There’s an espresso machine near the elevators that makes a decent cuppa. The hotel staff were excellent and they even accommodated a request to add an extra bed to our room on the last night so my visiting friend could stay with us. They also stored our luggage after we checked out so we could explore the city some more.

The mattresses were insanely hard. My back and hips were so sore every day from sleeping on these mattresses; my partner and friend both expressed the same sentiment. Also, the room was spotless except for the wall above the headboard: it had not been dusted in some time, as evidenced by the hand and finger swipes left all over the wall, presumably by previous guests in the throes of ecstasy. We found this amusing and weren’t bothered by it, but some guests may have a different reaction.

Great location, comfy and clean room, bigger size than your average Tokyo hotel. Easy check in and check out. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel since we were already tired of hotel buffet breakfast after many weeks of traveling. The lobby is on the 5th floor. The shops and restaurants are on the lower floors so you don't need to go out of the building to go to dinner especially on a cold winter night. We had a room with a nice view of the temples and Skytree tower
