DoubleTree by Hilton Putrajaya Lakeside

Let's be honest-- the reason anyone would stay here is for the kids. There are 3 pools: infinity, splash & rooftop. Breakfast is okay, but the dinner taste & selection were superb. The room: we were afraid if the bed was not big enough but it was, it was insanely big. Even the sofa bed was readily converted into a bed for us.

The room was used to be 2 rooms but they tore the wall in between, so there are 2 small bathrooms, but unfortunately no bathtubs. The hallway looked rundown & greasy too.

Pillow smell bad . I was so tired & did not contact customer service to change it. Please put 2 sets of toiletries as the room is for 2 adult.

Room was very nice and cozy, spacious. Staff very helpful despite delay in check in.

Check in supposed to be at 4pm but they make us waiting until 5.15pm with reason room still not ready.

The room was spacious and clean. Location was easy to find, the staff was friendly and attentive. Variety of TV channels, and very peaceful ambient suitable for a getaway or staycation for couples or families.

We upgraded for a king-sized bedroom with balcony only to find out that the balcony was locked and inaccessible due to some renovation works in progress? (no prior notice given about that), and the king-size bed was actually twin-beds combined (not a single king bed), so we could feel the gap in the 'middle' of the bed. No bathrobes, or bath tub, or proper dressing table with mirror for a Hilton standard. To summarize, we felt the room advertisement was a bit deceiving, though overall experience was okay.

After 2 years of not travelling anywhere due to Covid, we decided to bring our girls for a short break nearby. It was a pleasant trip we had and the girls enjoyed themselves especially at the pool and walking around Putrajaya at night by the bridge and by the lake. Staffs we all very helpful and polite, hopefully there will be more outlets to chose from and more activities / facilities especially for the children as it was still under rennovation. It was a good trip and tq team DHPL

Just the lack of option to eat as there was only 1 coffee house operating and during the night, it is quite difficult to find any restaurants nearby

i love that breakfast has a lot of varieties. Tastewise just average, but acceptable. I enjoyed my breakfast at Double Tree Hilton Putrajaya nevertheless. The architecture is unique and different than other places. Our room was big enough and comfortable.

Check in process was late, 4.00 pm for check in is already too late and we have to wait until 5.00 pm. But luckily they allowed us for late check out at 2.00 pm on the next day. Other than that, the aircond in our room was too cold, no matter how i adjusted the temperature, still cold. Too tired to call management for that though.

The location is great, right by the lake. I loved the view from my balcony however there were sporting events organised by the lake, so it can get noisy very early in the morning, especially on the weekend. I had an executive room at the top floor, it was clean and spacious. The access to a lounge was great, I was having daily breakfast there, it was quiet and peaceful. I found the main restaurant serving breakfast very crowded. So lounge was a great alternative. The gym is semi decent and there is sauna/steam room in the changing room. Daily free cookies were delicious.

I ordered steak for dinner in the main restaurant, without going into too much details, the food was disappointing. I went out for a walk around the lake in the evening but had to climb over the fence to get back as all the gates leading to the hotel are closed. I understand that this is due to a safety measures however there could be a gate with intercom or room key access.

1. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They tried their best resolving matters at hand. 2. Executive lounge was quiet and peaceful, I love that I can eat peacefully without queueing for food at breakfast buffet 3. Room was spacious and had adequate amenities. Balconies was big and we loved it 4. The in dining menu tasted great. We book multiple times during this trip. 5. The bathroom is spacious and clean. 6. Wifi is stable for work purpose

1. Miscommunication between dept lead to my trip ended not as per I imagine. Resolving the issue took most of my energy so the original itinerary had to be cancelled. 2. We found a few cockroaches either running around or dead for the whole 3d2n trip. Can't request for room change as the same room was fully booked. So we slept lightly for those 2 nights. 3. The smart tv in the room has very short device connection coverage. My laptop was unable to Miracast from the bed that is just a short distance 4. Very small fridge for such a big room. Can't fit in much stuff if I wanna stay for longer.

Pros 1.makan kitchen staff very helpful & very hospitality 👍👍 2.security guys handling our luggage 👍👍 3.Breakfast's variety 👍👍 4.splash pool plus point for double trees putrajaya as others double trees don't have this facility. My children love.

Cons 1.Press careline for 10 times but no one answer the call last nite, press inroom dining then pickup by reception. Im understand we arrived bit late but normally there is someone to pick up the call, isn't. 🤔 2.Have to call 2 times to get baby cribs n waters bottle last nite. We arrived late @10pm. Received all near to 12midnite. We tired for long drive from JB.😑 3.Given 2 coupon for cookies. Here i need to asked for extra. I got an extra, Thanks for that. 😐But my experiance with double trees JB & KL, they only asked how many person & give according to the pax's. 4.Room aircond not cold, we slept in room temperature 26. Im not calling down, again as to get the baby cribs n water bottle already hassled.😮‍💨 5.Front office staff please put a smiles & improve your customer service.
