Hotel Urban

I enjoyed the room--was very nicely sized. The wifi was good the whole time. The staff were very friendly. You're right in the heart of the Centro Historico, but the street noise was minimal, at least in my room.

Did not love the parking situation. The hotel has an arrangement with a lot, but it's not in-and-out access, only a portion of the day is included, and the lot was closed for much of my stay due to the holidays. I think this location is best visited without a car. (The staff were helpful in explaining what to do with the car, that being said).

The hotel is in one of the best locations in town with an easy walk to the central park and dozens of food options. The rooftop pool may be small but it is perfect for an early afternoon cooldown.

One of our rooms had no hot water, they kept saying it was repaired but after 2 nights moved us to another room. One other issue was the plastic mattress protectors which wrinkle and make the bed uncomfortable. Parking is in a paid carpark across the street. The hotel covers the cost between 8pm and 8am while you pay 16 pesos per hour outside those times. (*bonus tip... get your car out early in the morning and park it around the corner on the street during the day to save fees)

The design, comfort and cleanliness of this hotel is excellent. The location is also very good for exploring the Centro.

They assigned me a room facing the street on the first floor that was across the narrow street from a money exchange that had an alarm sounding from 5-8am. When I asked for them to do something about it they shrugged and said it happens regularly (which made me think then why did they assign me the room??). But they rightfully assigned me a new room the next day and a free breakfast at the hotel down the street (although they gave me an incorrect ticket so that required much hassle in sorting out when attempting to use it) which did suffice.

The room was clean. I liked the design and style of it. The current of shower was strong and the water was hot! I’ve been to so many hotels but never found any shower was comfortable as this hotel. The furniture was good, we all had space to place our items. Outside of the room was also great, lots of chilling out area. The location is great too.

There’s no bathroom in the lobby or common area. Once you check out, you’re not able to use the restroom anymore.

Hotel Urban is a small hotel, with only a few rooms on each "floor", and with the way the rooms, walkways, etc are designed you never really cross paths with other guests except in the lobby, this is a really nice aspect. If feels very private.

This was my third time staying, previously I had stayed in rooms with a private terrace and cenote, this time the only room available was on the ground floor and those options were not available. There are two rooms on the ground floor connected to the lobby, 101 and 102. 101 is a good size, 102 is barely bigger than the bed, which is massive. The bed in this room should be reduced to allow more walking space.

wonderful friendly staff who were helpful despite our language barrier. Recommended places to eat nearby and accommodated our early arrival. The property was clean and quiet. excellent location in downtown Marida. Loved that it included air conditioning after a long day outside exploring the city.

Would have liked to have a mini fridge.

Nice rooftop, clean rooms, warm shower, good wifi. Location was good, close to some bars and restaurants. Our airconditioning was broken, the receptionist provided us another room in another hotel which was very close by.

The pool was typically small and a bit cold. The room was small. The pictures overall looked nicer than in real life.

I have stayed here a few times, this trip was with a room that had a private terrace and cenote, and the price was below what you would expect for that type of room and below what I have paid at others for the same.

The only issue I have with Hotel Urban is that the breakfast is served off site at a different hotel, only half a block away, across the street, but still, you have to leave the hotel for the breakfast.

Friendly staff that helps you with every question, the beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. The location is really good, walking distance from everything! We were happy with our stay!

There was a little miscommunication at the reception about switching out rooms, but they fixed it in the end. You could hear noise from the street in the room. Don't expect a pool, it really is like the size of jacuzzi.

nice location, very in the center. we could check in way before our check-in time which was very nice! room was clean! the parking was across the hotel, only paid 70 pesos for more than 24 hours parking.

shower was a bit dark and there was no locker in the room
