The Residence Enschede0

We had been here one year ago and came back because of the great location (in the very centre of Enschede, few minutes walk from the train station and close to where our family lives) and the very spacious, luminous and clean apartment. In the apartment there is everything one needs, the kitchen is fully equipped (included some coffee capsules for the coffee machine) and there is a nice balcony. in our last visit, the sofa-bed was a bit on the small side for 2 people, but this time it was definitely big enough to sleep with 2 adults if needed (it was not our case, but our 4 year old daughter totally enjoyed her big bed!) Also, the whole places smells very nice!

The only down side is that, being in the very centre and on top of a bar, deliveries to restaurants and bars start early in the morning and people can also be around (and loud) a bit late at night. Last time our room was more in the inside of the building, so we did not hear it much, but this time we had a room at the street side and also on the corridor close to the stairs, so it was a bit more noisy. Not a reason for us not to consider coming back again in the future.

The location was good. It was really clean. The apartment is really spacious, which was nice. Beds are comfy. I didn't use the kitchen for cooking, but it looked like it would have been possible without problems. There was enough cutlery and dishes for 4 persons, and there was a dishwasher which was of course great. All in all, a nice place to stay.

It was a bit noisy, both noise from outside, but also from the neighboring apartments were clearly audible. And then some little things that could have been nicer, like a few more hooks to hang towels etc in the bathroom or better lighting in the kitchen.

Very light and modern and spacious- clean

You need to put hooks in the bathroom to hang things up - there is only one single hook on the wall - people cannot hang up wet towels or other items - you need to make an area in the hall to hang up coats - I sent a message to say that boiler was broken but nobody responded- I had to ring you up to find out nobody seen the message - you acted straight away but what if I would not have chased this up? I should not have to ring for that, I have an English mobile so to call to your Dutch mobile will be very expensive

We did not have breakfast included but there is a coffee shop downstairs (which I presume they use if you take breakfast included).We have been to it and it is good. Location is great close to everything including restaurants,and shops 3 mins walk to the centre, Staff were really helpful and lovely.Apartment was spacious(we were in a 1 bedroom) and clean.

Only downside of sorts for me was that the apartments do not come equipped washing machine which would have been nice for long stay people.They did have washing machines downstairs which is used by house keeping thus not always available. Although Sally did go out of her way to make time for us which we really appreciated,

The rooms were really spacious and the interior looked new and modern. The kitchen seemed well equipped, although I did not use it. I really enjoyed the shower and the bed. The facilities of the apartment have made me feel (almost) at home.

The bedroom window opened directly onto the outside hallway, so guests walking by could have seen in and could also have just come in if I would have left the window open. There were some pigeons on the balcony, maybe it was just bad luck but they seemed to be there more often.

Awesome location, very spacious and nicely outfitted apartment. Everything was very clean, and basics like free coffee and tea were provided.

I'm afraid this isn't something they can change because it comes with the awesome location, but sleeping late on a Friday morning was very hard once the shops started getting supplied and prepping etc...

Great location in the heart of town, though might be a little noisy for some. Perfect if you like a little ambience or are out in the evenings! I loved the flat and extended my stay by several days. Will definitely return when I’m next in Enschede.

The only annoying thing is if you have a car - you can’t park right by the apartment, although the multistorey car park is just around the corner. It’s £12 per day.

no toiletries in the bathroom, no extra garbage bags, candles but no matchsticks, would have been good to have laundry facilities in the building, no shower enclosure (open shower)

Location is great! Walking distance to everything you need.

The apartment was rather dusty, floor was a little sticky and our socks got very dirty walking around the apartment. It could do with a better clean.

Wonderful Apartment and in the middle of enschede - really wonderful stay. The Check in with Tyra was fast, leasure and easy

Nothing about the residence was bad... only one pidgeon on the balcony was quite annoying, but there is no reason to blame the residence for it :)
