Human & Horse Hotel0

This is a simple hotel with attached horsing facilities, so it's great for a certain market group. We have a dog and it's also a very dog friendly place. The hotel itself is quite simple. Rooms are spacious and clean. Everything works like it should. It's not a modern or stylish place to tell your parents about...but it's very good for what it is: A nice, friendly little hotel in the Veluwe. The staff are super helpful and friendly... really nice people. It's clear they care about people and animals. The breakfast is by buffet in a big open space with lots of windows overlooking the property. Fresh breads and spreads, cereals, cold cuts, fruits and boiled eggs ... that kind of thing; all perfectly nice...but not an exceptional experience.

For what it is, and what it's trying to be, this hotel is right on the money ... it would be hard for them to do what they are trying to do better. But what I would have liked more: some more warm items for breakfast and thicker walls between the rooms (you can hear other guests somewhat too easily).

I booked it because my wife loves horses. She used to race the breed Arabs. It is a lovely place to stay, run by people that are passionate about horses.. The room was very nice, the staff extremely helpful, breakfast was great, nice views of the paddocks, & a visit to the stables before we left topped the visit off

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Love the common area which is a restaurant/bar. You can serve any drinks yourself and you what you took. Lovely terrace where you can sit down at any time with a drink. They have available newspapers and magazines. With a beautiful view of green and horses.

There were flies around the food in the breakfast bouffet and the tables were not cleaned after other guests left- due to Covid, this should be a little more reinforced. I missed a kettle in the room. For non Dutch people who are not used to this: you get 2 small beds put together. These beds are way too small, I'm not used to sleep in such a narrow bed. I expect a bigger bed in a hotel. The price of the booking.com offer was different to what we actually had to pay.

I love the stay. I traveled with my dog for his 11 years birthday. Farm, horses, dogs, cats, and national park, can’t expect a better experience for him. The room was sparkling clean when we arrived, with fresh air and cleaner smell. The staffs were extremely helpful and friendly, great service they provided, the breakfast were excellent, many choices and big portions. Loved waking up with birds singing, having wine with sunset at the terrace. My dog and I had a great time there. The bus station is 3 mins by walk but I would still recommend to travel with a car. Buses take forever while a car can reach anywhere within 20mins.

Wonderful short stay. Lovely staff, very familiar. Great breakfast with multiple choices for all tastes. Easy acces from the highway when on traveling foot. Very cozy hotel and simple rooms with what you could need.

Only stayed one night so have nothing to complain about.

The breakfast was great, wonderful choice with attention to specific dietary requirements. Friendly staff, great location quite close to the Marskramerpad. Nice to sit outside on the balcony to watch the sunset.

As I said the day when I was at the breakfast : the brown nread is just FANTASTIC ! Congratulations. Hop will come again espacially for the bread home made !

Very friendly and attentive staff, they'll make you feel at home. The place is very comfortable and it's also quiet and peaceful and it's perfectly located to visit the forest, sands and heaths.

As name of Property, if you like horse and country side, it is good. I enjoy. Nice environment, relax, not noise and quiet. small town near by is also nice. breakfast is good. Room is acceptable.

Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Location nearby a National Park, sand dunes where you can walk, riding your bicycle etc. Adapted to the government imposed COVID rules by serving breakfast in the room.

Other guest should know the difference between closing and slamming a door.....
