Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Mooi Veluwe

They served fresh bread on the breakfast. Room was spacious and clean. The lady receptionist in the evening shift was warm and accommodating. The room allocated for us was in front of the Sakura tree so we were happy with the nice view in the morning.

Location is a bit far from Amsterdam and it's in the middle of the forest. However, the distance was expected as it was described anyway upon booking. We didn't find the elevator going to the 1st floor so we have to carry our luggage.

The area around the hotel is beautiful. Lots of forest and a great hiking area. The hotel was fine, good food and very pleasant staff. Perfect that we could take the dog with us and that he was allowed in the Grand Café.

The hotel bedrooms need a little upgrading but good value for money. Needed a more central sitting/ relax area to play card games etc. As usual in Dutch hotels no coffee or tea facilities in the room

The location is amazing, the food and the kindness of the restaurant employees.

On the 10.05 evening, the receptionist lady could not even force a smile to her face and was always interrupting me while I was giving her relevant information. She would really need some communication trainings.

Great location, good Grand Cafe, comfortable bed and shower. You walk straight out of the hotel into the forest. Close to arborium and hidden garden.

Strange that the extra cost for the sauna (10 euro) is more than the cost of 7,50 pp per hour. This is not indicated in the information overview in the room.

Access to a terrace immediately from the room. Very pet-friendly accommodation. Good hotel breakfast. We do plan on staying at other Fletcher Hotels in the future.

The room had minimal features and I couldn't connect my apple tv to the free wifi. It would have been nice to have a mini-fridge in the room. Also, the hotel rooms need a facelift. There was rust and mold in the bathroom. Also the butlaroo app for in room dining did not work.

We are a couple and stayed here in mid-April. The hotel is easy to reach by public transport from Putten train station, bus 107 stops directly in front of it. There’s plenty of trails for at least 3-4 days of hiking, and with a bike you can reach even more, so you can really enjoy the place without a car. We really liked that the hotel provides a little table in front of the rooms for private use. On a sunny day, it’s nice to have breakfast or tea outside. Meals were fairly priced and we particularly enjoyed the vegetarian dishes and the salads, which were also in our opinion the healthiest options (I also eat meat and fish but was not impressed with those, especially having fries as a surprise garnish). We greatly appreciated that the meals were not overly packaged - just some aluminium foil or plastic wrap as a cover, the rest was regular plates and cutlery. Please keep it like that, it’s inevitable to create waste when eating out but at least we can keep it low. Breakfast was buffet-style and offered more than expected (among other things: nice croissants, different types of bread, proper oats and seeds instead of the usual corn flakes).

We would have found a little fridge in the room very useful, I know it’s not a standard thing but it can be handy to keep medicines or small healthy snacks (fruit, yogurt, or similar). We also missed local hiking trails in the folder at the reception, luckily we found plenty on the website of the Staatsbosbeheer.

Lovely staff..I particularly like that the rooms have a terrace. Lovely location. Very cosy rooms, good WIFI, nice linen, comfortable beds, good shower...

No complaints of any substance. The hotel is very comfortable, warm and friendly. The carpets and chairs are stained and decoration is tired. There is mildew from condensation in the bathrooms..but the showers and linens are great and afford a nice stay. The hotel food at the current ( quiet/ corona) time, is not nice. I ordered spare ribs and salad..(23 euros). Inedible... Served barely warm..and way too much oil on the salad..(2cm in the small salad dish and very unpleasant)...

I found that this hotel have the most hospitable front desk stuff from all the hotels I have stayed at the past 3 months.

Some of the room are very far to the end and it was a pain having to bring my 6 bicycle bags to the room and put. Wished I had one closer to the entrance but maybe they were full.

Great location for bikers wanting a comfortable hotel with excellent food. This is my fifth visit which probably says more than a few more adjectives describing the excellent facilities can.
