Court Garden Hotel - Ecodesigned

The receptionist at arrival was super friendly. The availability of free coffee and tea and a micro-wave. My room in the fifth floor had a great view. Nice breakfast with quite some variation, different kinds of bread, fresh fruit, omelette, different juices, tomato, cheese, ham, yoghurt and even poffertjes

It was warm and you have double windows with only a small window to open.

Nice hotel. Very clean. Friendly staff (e.g. helped me with finding tram lines and times). Superb breakfast: good selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, plenty to choose for vegetarians, also gluten-free and dairy free options available. Fresh pastries, cheese and ham. Also good scrambled eggs (made of real eggs) as well as sosages. Pretty quiet - no sounds heard from the street, but one could hear voices in the corridor and next room. Fortunately the neighbours happened to be not noisy. Relatively wide bed in a single room (120 cm).

A little distant from the centre but a nice walk (about 35 minutes from the Plain area. The pillow was awful - lumpy and hard. Fortunately there was a cushion that was softer so I used that instead.

Highly raccomended. Best feautures surely includes: location, staff, design. It's very close to the heart of the city. Clean, comfortable, and welkoming, i appreciated especially the ecofriendly and effective project behind this hotel. Also, despite the closeness ti the city center, the place is definitly quiet at night and allows for good sleep (also, very good mattress). Delicious breakfast option in the hotel or just around the corner.

Just a minor issue. I appreciated the bike-rental service, but i would suggest to keep some not-too-touristy bikes (lighter, not that noisy), because riding around (especially on beautiful and quiet beach tracks)i felt a bit out of place and a bit too rattling.

The hotel is in a great location for exploring the city. There is a bus a short walk away (or the tram) to get to the city centre and Scheveningen beach just andround the corner are cafes and restaurants for the evening. The room was a decent size, the bathroom quite big and there was free tea and coffee in the lounge area. We had a room towards the carpark and it was very quiet. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that.

Having a carpark at the hotel was great (and easy to book) but the price was steep. Having said that parking in The Hague in general is expensive. The room only had a very small window and we stayed when it was hot so there wasn't much ventilation in the room but it was okay

Clean, modern hotel with friendly staff: I couldn't open my suitcase as the padlock had jammed...within minutes they had it open with the help of some massive pliers. Phew! Generous breakfast. Location-wise, it generally suited me as much of what I wanted to see was in northern Den Haag and on the coast, plus I was happy to use local buses and trams. Overall, happy with my stay.

I'd have liked to be able to open a window in the room. The sound-proofing was excellent (no noise from the busy road outside), but there's no substitute for fresh air. The floor fan in the room was noisy to use and wouldn't have been necessary if the window opened...that's one example of what I felt was a bit contradictory about the hotel's emphasis on "green" messaging. Another was that on occasion some of the staff didn't seem to be aware of what "green" signs around the hotel were telling guests re. hotel policies. I also felt the "soft pressure" to not want daily housekeeping was not right. However overall these were small concerns during what was generally a very pleasant stay.

The hotel is nice from the main entrance. Very friendly staff. I loved the possibility of taking my bike in the room with me. The room was quiet, clean and had all the necessary facilities for comfortable staying. Very soft mattress on the bed. Thick blinds so the morning light would not wake you up if you want to sleep till late. Free proper coffee from the machine on the ground floor. Overall it was a great stay, totally worth the money and I'll definitely consider staying again if coming back to The Hague.

Clean warm & welcoming environment. Coffee &tea always available in the longe area. Expected decaffeinated coffee to be available as an echo and green property, however, nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they found a solution to discuss with me. If they ordered with their supplier it would be Friday before it arrived and I was leaving on Monday. Would it be Ok if purchased some for me from the local store? I agreed -they went over and beyond,bought me instant good quality coffee also decaf latte sachets which I didn’t know existed! And instead of the whole container in my room I accepted lesser amount topped up daily similarly two/ three sachets in the room and both items checked regularly by staff. Received somewhat preferential treatment at Breakfast with lovely sweet and chocolate truffles and coins and traditional dessert cake tarts especially over the Easter weekend. They cooked me fresh hot food if I made breakfast my last visit before they finished. Freshly prepared mixed fruit eg:kiwi pineapple melon grapes mango etc self selection & starters of yoghurt clearly marked where additional treats added -{3 daily usually} salads hard boiled eggs trays of sliced cheeses meats nicely presented, hot foods available mushrooms scrambled eggs beans tomatoes bacon etc varied daily.1or 2 freshly made baked to traditional recipes [1 day even brought fresh from the oven baked pudding slice {extra delicious} homemade truffles {delicious} more chocolate coins fresh whole fruit selection. Fruit juice cold water always in jug with mint herbs,fruit herbal teas & coffee available.Breakfasts not included order evening before. Staff happy for me to take a bag with me if I was in a hurry to leave[I was volunteering at Invictus Games & often not returning until after 11pm.

TOP FLOOR Not possible to open a window in the bed room. A small lift - a 1 way system worked but - 5 lots of double steps / stairways which I chose to use down to breakfast & always just managed to return after sometimes stopping to pause & catch my breath4th floor -haha wanted to up my daily steps to ad to my daily walking mileage. I managed not sure suit more elderly.

Good location with nice restaurants in 5mn walk. The bed was comfortable and the room really clean. We loved the “tea room” where you can have a free coffee / tea (really appreciate!). This space was calm and quite green with nice flowers and plants everywhere.

There was someone in the morning who started to make some noise against the wall with his hammer to fix something I guess, and that was annoying when you are sleeping. (Just do this kind of things later !)

This was my first time staying at the Court Garden and looking forward to returning. My flight was seriously late arriving in Amsterdam, and once I arrived in Den Haag it was near midnight, but the check-in took two minutes and the staff was very friendly. The room was great, and I appreciated the bed and the breakfast after a looooooong trip the day before! The location was perfect for my work, as everything was within walking distance.

Great location, tram 17 right outside the door, easy to get to town or opposite down to the harbourside. Staff friendly, good Nespresso machine and free coffees and water.Clean rooms and comfy bed and linen. Would reccomend this hotel. Parking pre-paid and convenient to access.

Windows bit small, couldn't get much air in when it was warm in August, would be nice to have some aircon accessible.
