Hotel Hague Center

Best value for money for an overnight stay if you need to do so for your work. Check in and out is efficient. No waiting or other annoying fake friendlyness. Just a room. But unlike other budget hotels, with a coffeemaker and a normal wardrobe! Comfortable shower, clean bed, clean towels. Top location! There is even a working fridge - so you can take your own yoghurt for breakfast.

There is no window in the room ( I do not mind - only sleep there ). I do not like the deposit. Last time I missed a chair at the desk in the room. The coversheet of the mattress got quickly loose - woke up a couple of times on the 'naked' mattress, ugh.

Friendly and unfussy service at the reception, I was allowed to check in early at no extra fee. Excellent location in the middle of Chinatown. The room is sufficiently spacious and clean and the same goes for the bathroom. Coffee and tea available.

The lighting on one of the beds was not functioning and the mainlight was flickering. Management should regularly inspect and change the bulbs. The remote control of the tv was missing and the reception had no spare available. As this room is windowless (which I was aware of when booking), something by way of a painting, decoration or a framed cityscape on the wall would be nice.

Partner and I stayed in a ground floor private double room with en-suite bathroom. Large comfy double bed with bed sheets, pillows and warm duvet provided. Air condition in room. Bath and hand towels provided for free in room. Toilet paper and hand soap in bathroom. Bin bathroom and room. Hotel located in Chinatown, among a varioty of cafes and restaurants to cater for many international cuisines. 10 minute walk to trams/buses to city centre. Hostel very close to many shops and eateries. Quiet, friendly helpful international staff. Hotel small and quiet. Cleaning room service is provided daily. Receptions offers free small mints for its guests, located on the reception counter. Hotel sells bottled water, but no alcohol. Tea/cofee with sugar and milk power, plus small kettle in room. Room has small desk and a wardrobe to hang clothes and store bags.

No breakfast available at hotel. Hotel a little far from centre if walking.

Big room, close to city center, nice and helpful staff.

You have to pay 100E as insurance for things you might break or for breaking the policy of the Hotel. But the hotel has a lot of it's facilities already broken or very close to fail on touch. The windows don't do a great job to isolate sound and as the Hotel is on one main street there was noise all night.

I believe this hotel should be rated somewhat higher than the Booking reviews give it so far. For city-centre Hague, this is an excellent price-quality choice. I took the room without windows (which one knows in advance), which I found to be rather large for Hague standards. WiFi was decent too (though could be somewhat better still). Would advice for a few nigths in the Hague, especially for business travellers.

The location of the hotel is very convenient. 1 bus stop away from the train station and also in the heart of the city center. The room was cleaned on a daily basis - new towels incl.

I needed to wait for the check-in, my room was ready around 15:40.

I really liked the location. Everything was nearby. Even public transportation was very close. We got there bye train and were able to walk to the hotel.

We hoped to have a bathtub in our room. But were just as happy with our shower.

For that price, it's over the expectations for me. When i checked in. There was a young beautiful lady. That answered all of my questions, and treated me good. Ahsan was the top class frontdesk, top tier presentation. They've helped me with everything i needed. You just need to ask ☝️

The design of the check in/out front desk doesn't fit the workers profesionalism. Better desk maybe.

The hotel is located right in the center of The Hague so this makes it a very good choice for moving around the city. The room had a balcony that was very nice. The people at the reception were extremely helpful and friendly.

The room received smelled very bad of cigarette smoke and the light was very dim.

The staff were very polite and helpful, the room was clean. The location was excellent and easily accessible, and it is right next to the city centre which has lots of places to eat.

I wish I had a room with a window and the WiFi signal could have been better.
