Blue Lotus Hotel

Very clean modern hotel very obliging staff, the laundry lady is 'Wonderwoman' cleaning returned to us in under 2 hours! Location is very close to numerous restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets within 2 minutes walk. Nice gym and pool area.

The bar is a little impersonal and divoide of any character but we didn't choose the hotel for the bar. Overall it is an excellent hotel.

The Sky View Restaurant located on the roof top where breakfast was served has an amazing view of Davao Samal island. This is my favourite place in this hotel. Not only because of the view but also the place is clean, the staff in the restaurant were helpful, friendly and they’re always smiling. Plus the breakfast menu was good food and tasty.

My only issue with this hotel is the front desk staff due to their poor communication. They’re slow in responding any requests especially emails, including urgent maintenance which happened on my first day. A simple reply acknowledging receipt of emails would be helpful. This is vital especially when room phones were not working due to wifi connection issues & you can only communicate through emails at night.

Rooms were as advertised in ad and photos Location Staff Security Rooms Internet TV channels I wound up staying an additional 3 days and getting an additional room for my other family guests

For the higher price, the breakfast buffet could have had a few more items as the existing ones were slightly bland

The guards and hotel staff were courteous and helpful. I like that the hotel has a parking lot that is able to accommodate the vehicles of its clients. The elevator system, which provides for foot pedals (instead of the usual buttons), is simply genius as it removes the necessity of using fingers/hands to operate the elevator.

The quality of the breakfast seemed to have slightly slipped from when I last stayed at BLH. The watermelon served was overripe and the eggs rather salty. I am Muslim, so I would appreciate if food labels indicate if the dish has pork as one of its ingredients or, the other way around, if the dish is non-pork.

Location is great because it is right beside popular restos (Marina Tuna, Yellow Fin) serving local favorites. Fastfood restos are nearby as well, e.g., Jollibee. The room we got was Junior Suite. I did not expect it to be that spacious! Our stay was very comfortable. The parking space is also adequate. Altho buffet breakfast was not really spectacular, the rooftop ambience makes up for it. Everyday, we ate outdoors and got to have a nice view of the sea and Samal island. Staff were very courteous - like any Davaoeño :-).

I suggest that the water flow from the shower be "stronger".

I’ve stayed in different hotels & every time I check out, if I leave something in the room (even the smallet bottle like a yogurt) they’d report it if I’ll leave it or take it. Now, when I got back, I realized I left my bottle of wash in the toilet. It’s a bit disappointing for me for that point. Other than that, place is good, clean, convenient location and staff was polite. 😊

I have traveled alot around the world and the staff here were outstanding.some of the best customer service I've seen... Nice pool and gym, exceptional buffet breakfast and food at the top restaurant. I didnt get to try the bottom restaurant.Bus stop straight out the front can easily get a jeep to gmall or book a grab.2 seafood restaurants,icecream place next door/jolibees, 7/11 just across the road also a teller machine nearby. Highly recommend my wife and I will be back!

The breakfast was not included in the booking that I made so it is a bit pricey in my end. But the food is sumptuous. The pool is what my son enjoyed best and i am delighted by the kiddie meal that they serve.

I am not so techy so i have slight difficulty in the switches in the room. But once you get accustomed to it, it is just as easy.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. The room was quite spacious and modern

The swimming pool is in a different building and was super chlorinated.the small bar fridge in the room struggled to keep anything cold, and the shower room flooded due to poor drainage

I really felt like a "valued customer" staff were helpful, the facilities were clean and well maintained, the food not only looked fantastic but also tasted amazing.. The room was very large and spacious, big TV, nice shower, and air conditioning worked great.

The location of this hotel was a little out the way for me personally.. But everything else really made up for it. I am definitely considering returning, thank you.
