Alona42 Resort

- The room is very clean. - They have good Wifi. However, it disconnects from time to time. - The bathroom is unbelievably clean. The heater is working good. - The breakfast is amazing. I thought it would be Filipino portion but it was very presentable and the toast taste great! Well done! - They’ve got parking for bikes and cars. - The pool is cleaned on a daily. - The Cable TV has a lot of channels that’s interesting to watch. - They have a lot of room for clothes if you want a long term stay. - They have a bar area, and a lot of food options you can buy and eat in your room with reasonable prices! - They have a nice balcony to chill out alone or with your partner. - They provide water on a daily! - They can assist you with tours and travels to other places (Cebu, Iloilo, Boracay and what not) around 1,250 via ferry. - It’s a 5 minute walk to the beach, but you cannot use the same road at night. It’s dangerous. - Very helpful and courteous staff. Thanks everyone!

- The toilet didn’t have bidet. :( - If you want to go out at night, it is recommended to rent a bike because going back from the beach is a mile away. - The bed we got is like two single beds attached to each other, so the middle stand is the edge of both beds combined, and most times I forget that there’s a stand in the middle because the blanket is covering it so I kept hitting my leg on it. - They don’t provide toothbrush and toothpaste. Kindly bring your own.

The one bed apartment is a great size. The separate bedroom has really good air conditioning, the balcony is a wonderful size and has options for sitting down. You are in the trees which is really refreshing. The fridge was a great size and it worked well. We purposefully chose a location that wasn't in town and was a bit quieter and this was perfect. Walkable to town but peaceful. The restaurant next door was also great and took card. Breakfast was quite tasty, I had the Spanish omelette (with no mushrooms!)

We weren't able to cook as we couldn't get the gas hob to work. We chose to go out for dinner rather than ask the staff if there was a switch outside. The kettle also was so slow to heat up it didn't boil.

I liked how quiet the resort was. I like its proximity to the beach. When you walk left from the hotel you will land on a somewhat secluded part of Alona beach which was nice. We booked an apartment room and it was so big. It could fit 1 family. The room was good for 4 only but I think it could fit 5. It was also nice that they have a kitchen inside the apartment room.

I didn’t like that the restroom inside the rooms were not clean enough. The shower door was dirty. Mentioned it to the staff after our 1st day but it wasn’t cleaned afterwards. I also don’t like that they served cold packed sandwiches on our next day when we had to leave early for a tour.

everything is awesome. friendly staffs. good breakfast (not buffet, but really good). cheep laundry service. huge and calm room. good bed condition. not best location but you can go to main street 5~10 min by walk(think price is really good). and so many tricycle is ask to you. so you can get this. pool is good. every room has independent. i wanna go again when i come back bohol. +++ huge bathroom.

front of room, and wood stuff what in the room has little ants. but really 10~15 ants in the room. so i can caught every ants. its normal at bohol. no worry.

Beautiful garden and good pool. Area is quiet but close to the center of Alona and Alona Beach. Pretty, small road to Alona Beach which takes less than 5 minutes by foot to get there. Breakfast was really nice and the options were good. They paid attention to our honeymoon by decorating the bed.

The quality of the housekeeping was variable. First time we didn't know we should've put up a sign on the door in case we needed cleaning. One time the trashbin was not emptied. Sometimes housekeeping had left us water bottles, sometimes not. There were no handtowels or pool towels eventhough in the room there's a sign about pool towels. Once we asked for pool towels, we got them but they were taken away during the next cleaning and not replaced. We also had some problems with the toilet flush, it's not very powerful.

This place was very quiet, staff were friendly and accommodating, internet worked very well, and room was clean. Didn't use the pool but it looked nice and clean. Also didn't try the breakfast so can't comment on that either. Location is a bit far from Alona but that is what I was looking for. Would definitely stay again

The beds were comfortable Airconditioning was working great The pool was very nice and they clean it everyday. Nice garden view Kind staff workers around Shower was good It looks better than the pictures on booking.

Don't expect a lot from the breakfast and coffee. The wifi in the room was not good only just outside the room.

This was our second stay at Alona42. Next time we return to Panglao will make it our third. The staff are wonderful, the garden is beautiful, and the beds are incredibly comfy.

The staff were friendly and very accommodating to our requests. The place was peaceful. Not a very big place but what we expected based on description.

There was no free toothbrush/toothpaste, they don't have any available for purchase. There was only 1 complimentary bottled water. The tv didn't turn on, I didn't bother asking for assistance they should have checked. There was also a mini fridge that didn't work. The wifi was weak/slow at Rm 6.

The staff were very helpful, friendly and considerate. Rooms are big and comfortable. Apartmenrs are very accomodating with kitchen utensils and all.

Toilets have no videt or at least a pail to use for washing after defecating.
