The Town Hotel

Room was Good, and the bed also very comfortable, also very clean area, also the Parking available at Basement, its little harder to drive the car to basement parking, and compare to overall hotel is good.

for the Car Parking, need to stop the car and go to reception and need to inform to open the gate always

I liked the hotel room very spacious room I was lucky to have a secured parking I like the hospitality and professionalism of front desk staffs (the lady and man) on duty.

I didn’t like the attitude of one staff i think he was a concierge or front desk helper seriously the management should school this guy on how to approach guest upon arrival at hotel premises. Just imagine i come to hotel at midday just to confirm my booking but upon arrival at hotel lobby this dummy just start shouting stop 🛑 go back this quarantine facility seriously 😳 i was shocked by his attitude and body language? ... so when I tried to explain to him my purpose of being there again he was too quick to cut me off by shouting check in is 3PM ? . He should have just approached me quickly and have a mutual conversation from my observation this staff had already profiling me because am people of color? ... he made my first impression very unwelcome .

This hotel is conveniently located close to Msheireb metro station. My room was very spacious and equipped with all necessary amenities including an ironing board with an iron. The staff is very welcoming and friendly.

The food selection at the breakfast was very poor. There were many dishes that people wouldn’t normally eat for breakfast, such as rice, curry, or chicken nuggets. The swimming pool on the rooftop is extremely small, and the area around it looks untidy. There are no sun loungers around the pool to lie down and sunbathe, only a couple of chairs. I don’t know who would possibly fancy swimming in this kind of environment. The rooms don’t have a hair dryer which was a big inconvenience for me.

Easily walkable to Souq Waqif and will be even better once construction for the World Cup is finished. Currently the construction has caused closures to many of the things nearby and a little tough to navigate the streets. Some facilities closed, I assume due to Covid, which is no problem, but not mentioned. Overall very nice stay, great rooms and helpful staff - they let me check in much, much earlier than the check in time which was greatly appreciated.

It wasn't the first time for us to stay in Town Hotel. We chose it for being close to my friend's spouse address. The hotel ist just right for a comfortable stay in Doha. Everything is clean, the reception is open all day, the room has a frigde. As the fridge did not work when we arrived, it took the reception only 5 minutes to fix it.

There was a kind of smell from the previous guests in the room, in spite of all bed linnen really clean and the floor carefully vacuum-cleaned. In the night, the fan (airconditioner?) of the building opposite to the window disturbed us a little bit.

This is my 4th time staying at town hotel, huge room, very comfortable, everything clean, I called for water at 3 am, they brought me water at 3 am, it was very nice for me, that's why I visit town again and again. Go back to the hotel

I did like the facility to find the hotel for the booking, when we arrived the staff were very kindly specially Morris that help us with everything, the room was very clean and comfortable and also the breakfast the staff were very helpul, even the value was really acceptable and we enjoyed too much.

We didn't like the pool for us it was very small and uncomfortable because there were no seats even the shower was very bad the tv control was incomplete and we couldn't connect our phone so we only used youtube for that and we felt they were missing more amenities.

Room was very big.

A/c wasn't working properly.

Room size was very good, clean big bed, good facilities and every thing was acceptable. the locations is very near to Mishairb and Soque Wagif. walking distance from Mishairb Metro station.

the in hotel restaurant bill is separate from the hotel bill so you can not have break fast and pay later you have to pay the restaurant alone from the hotel.

Especially all of the outstanding staffs, from front office (during check in procedure & check out - Morris), breakfast in charge (Philippines waitress), they're so kind & fulfilled all of my request.
