beautiful view from the Elephant room of the indian ocean and knysna heads. the pictures don't do it any justice. we were able to see the sunset behind the west head from both the balcony and from inside the room. beautiful views during breakfast if you manage to get the only window seat with the view. breakfast was good. Crystal was super helpful and they made great recommendations and booked us diner reservations for our anniversary. Debbie also made great recommendations of places to visit and the best times to go.

no bar fridge in rooms. it would be nice as can get hot need a place to keep liquids cool so can hydrate during the night or afternoons. we did get an ice bucket from the host and brought our ice.

We were welcomed very warmly. After showing us around, everything was looking great. We had 2 beautiful rooms with a view at the Indian ocean and the Knysna Heads. Lovely breakfast with fruits, cereals, yoghurt and a choice of eggs any style. Free parking was in front of the guesthouse. At the deck there is a swimming pool. We wished that we could stay longer but had to move on to Franschhoek the next day. Next time we will stay a bit longer.

Nothing was disappointing.

Our best accommodation in South Africa. The view in the common room, on the terrace (we even saw dolphins) and in the room (Elephant room) is incredible and stunning. The heads view point is very close. The service was outstanding. Deborah, Crystal and the whole team were so friendly, made great trip suggestions and even made the reservation for us. We will definitely recommend the guest house.

Debbie was an incredible and kind host. We only stayed in Knysna for one night, and had a very early departure to Port Elizabeth the next day. Debbie provided us with the most important sight-seeing spots to explore in the few hours we had. The morning of departure, Debbie was so kind to host us for early breakfast, serving an incredible muesli, porridge, and omelette. The room was welcoming, and the view amazing. Would definitely recommend!

Clean, cosy, friendly hosts.

No hand shower! Thin walls so you can hear everything from the rooms next door. Breakfast is the same every day, so in case of longer stay, it becomes monotonous. Basically, half of the price paid is for the view. Which is beautiful, but still overpriced.

We as a family would love to give a huge thank you to Debbie, Alicia and Johanna. Our stay was comfortable, memorable and filled with peace of mind that our hostesses were giving their best at all times. We were well taken care of and sensible advice were shared with us about beautiful beaches and excellent restuarants. Breakfast was a feast and we enjoyed not only the delicious food but also the friendly conversation of Debbie, Alicia and Johanna. The stunning views from our rooms and breakfast table speak for itself- it is a must see and you have to experience it yourself. We as a family would rate the accomodation amongs the best in South Africa. We are looking forward to stay again at Headlands House Guest Lodge and would most certainly recommend this Lodge.

There was nothing we did not like.

The room was exceptional. Jaw dropping views over the ocean and Headlands from one balcony, and a second balcony with views towards Knysna and the lagoon. Floor to ceiling windows/sliding doors enhance the views from the room. Comfortable bed, and excellent bathroom. Lovely breakfast room with a view. Close to beach accesses and other great viewpoints, plus convenient access to Knysna. Good base for exploring Knysna area.

This is a lovely guesthouse with beautiful views overlooking the coast, comfortable rooms, very friendly staff and a delicious breakfast in the morning. The location is perfect, just a short distance from an amazing lookout point and down to a small beach. We wish we had stayed longer and will be sure to return next time.

Everything was just right.

The hosst are extremely friendly and helpfull. We received so many tips and great restaurant recommondations from Debbie an Chrystal. The room had enough space with a huge bathroom and balcony. The view from our room and also the breakfast room is marvellous. Breakfast is a two course meal which is freshly prepared. We enjoyed our stay to the fullest!
