Hotel Leuka

Unbeatable position, within 5-10 minutes walking to everywhere, right next to the strategic Plaza de Los Luceros, where all trams stop, easy fast and cheap trip to San Juan Beach (fantastic), supermarket 3 minutes away. Not a new hotel but impeccably clean and even with a "Franco Era" old-school charm. Got an unrequested upgrade to my room. Cleaning staff always smiling and clearly treated well (very important for me), very helpful and polite at the reception. A total bargain, for the price: recommended!

Nothing really.

A good central location. Not as close to the marina as I would usually stay but this hotel had last minute availability and was perfectly adequate. A little dated but exceptionally clean. My room had a small balcony with brilliant views of the Castle and city. Staff, including housekeeping, were absolutely excellent and very helpful. No frills hotel but absolutely fine as a base. Air conditioning in the bedroom was perfect.

No water on arrival or refrigerator in the room but expected at this price point. Quite lightweight door to the room so I heard some noise as people used the corridors. there is a second door to the bedroom section so bedroom was peaceful enough at night.

Friendly staff, downtown location, just a few steps from several types of shopping and dining opportunities. It's located really close to the Luceros tram station and the train station isn't far also. The old town is within a walking distance too. The beach (Playa del Postiguet) is well within a manageable walk.

Could be noisy but just a tiny bit and with the balcony door open - downtown location; we had no serious issues though. Some guests generated more noise than the occasional traffic outside - not the fault of the hotel. Indeed, the design is dated but the room was clean.

The location is great, so also the staff

One can only use the WiFi in the room. It does not work anywhere else, not even in the waiting areas. The toilet does not have a cleaning brush. On another subject: Please give me credit on the charge you made on behalf of Chalet St. Louis, #3974425022. The host cancelled my reservation, that is why I came to Le Petite Majestic.

Good value for money, great location - a bit on a side but within the city center right next to Luceros, modest but fine for a short stay, has its old-fashioned charm. Bathtub and comfortable bed - big plus. Asked for a quiet room and got it. Wifi ok. The young lady-intern at Reception (from Dortmund) very professional. Thank you!

No aircon is ok but a fan in the room would be a good idea (perhaps those are available, I didn't ask). Also - mind you - if you have separate reservations for the duration of your stay, they will insist on you coming to see Reception every time a new bookings starts to check-out / check-in, you cannot just do it all on arrival. Super weird.

Breakfast was good. Everything as expected with a continental breakfast. The man who worked behind the counter was lovely. Receptionists very helpful indeed. If I had only one complaint the mattress was too hard. Had a difficult nights sleep with it. I could hardly move when I first got up. So uncomfortable. That's my only complaint. Great location and wonderful welcome at reception - couldn't do enough to help. The rooms are basic and a little dated, but clean and quiet. Right in the middle of the action of Alicante, the hotel is central, with easy access to shops, eating, bars and anything else you need. Recommend.

It's bang in the centre which is good, but a bit noisy. The room was basic, but great value for money. The bed was comfy and the bathroom stuff worked.

The WiFi was a bit hit and miss. We couldn't get the Smart TV in the room to connect to Netflix reliably so had to use a mobile phone as a hotspot for that.

The hotel is absolutely centrally located close to the centre, marina, beach... everything. It is also very clean and the personnel is very polite. The hotel is of excellent value for money and I will definitely stay again if passing by Alicante. Thank you.

Breakfast was buffet style. Room was clean and tidy. Staff were efficient and helpful. Only stayed one night as we were moving on the next day. Hotel looked after our bags for us.

Everything was fine, location was good. View from balcony was of a block wall but that wasn’t a problem for us but might have been disappointing if you were staying awhile and wanted to make use of balcony a bit more.
