Hotel Miramar

Restful, relaxing and clean with friendly staff. Continental brekfast only but very good. Located centrally with an area to swim, which was essentially like a tidal swimming pool, accross the road. Sea view from the balcony was fantastic. The staff were hard working and friendly, the rooms kept spotless, daily cleaning, towels replenished, daily if wanted, comfortable beds. Quiet sun bathing area on rooftop, the breakfast area was also on the roof top terrace.

The hotel had no bar or entertainment facilities for the evening, this meant always going elsewhere when on occasion we would have wanted to stay in.

We had a sea view balcony which got the sun from early morning till about 4pm which was lovely . Breakfast on the roof terrace was wonderful with such a great view and to be out in the open . All staff very friendly and helpful . Everywhere very clean . Our room was a good price so very good value .

Three beds in the room which meant very little space for anything else . With two it would have been really comfortable and given a sense of luxury with maybe another chair and small table . There was a fridge on the floor taking up space and didn’t work and very unsightly .Cheap bit of furniture holding the television . Looked tacky and didn’t go with anything . With a bit of attention to detail the room could feel really special .

I love the location, roof-terrace breakfast, balcony, sea view, great price, and quiet comfort of Hotel Miramar, which I found on my own here on booking.com. I had to book my own hotel to join a cruise ship where I was working, and I wanted to be within sight of the cruise terminal the morning of check-out, to see my ship when it arrived. My Miramar balcony had a perfect view, with both shade and sunshine, of the ship when she docked. It's also a very short walk from shops, cafes and restaurants, and the WiFi signal, mattress, and shower pressure and hot water are great. I LOVE the roof terrace breakfast area, where I had the choice to eat out in the sun or in a pleasant dining room. The roof terrace/breakfast eating area has glass to shield the wind but allow a 270-degree panoramic view.

Fab little hotel with very nice staff. Breakfast a bit of a struggle with grumpy looking guests in silent anguish over a slow toaster (are they ever fast?). But breakfast food good, plentiful and tirelessly administered by attentive staff. There are signs dotted around encouraging you to smile. No reasom not to at this friendly, good value, well run place. Unless maybe you only eat toast.

Fantastic location. Excellent buffet breakfast. Wonderful views from the rooftop solarium / restaurant. Comfortable beds. All areas were spotlessly clean. All staff very pleasant and helpful. We look forward to returning.

The bar was not open as expected. Only beer and soft drinks from a vending machine.

Very delicious and varied breakfast with beautiful sea view. The staff is very kind. The room was very wide and comfortable, with a nice balcony and sea view. There was also a fan for people that don't like air conditioning

The staff doesn't speak English fluently

excellent location. comfortable bed. nice roof top terrace for breakfast on non-windy days. efficient and helpful breakfast staff. basic breakfast with good products. lovely Christmas decorations!

Very good breakfast on the terrace with the view to the sea. I felt very comfortable at the hotel. I attach the photo with the view from the balcony (5th floor) - you can watch both sunrise and sunset from there! Note that there is a street between the hotel and the shore, not very busy at day and quiet at night - but for those who want to escape all traffic it's probably an important information ;)

Perfect location right in the centre, 2 mins walk away from the airport bus stop, extremely friendly staff who went above & beyond. Small business and absolutely perfect balcony & view. Amazing breakfast included as well - I went diving afterwards and didn’t get hungry til well after 4pm. Can’t find anything to complain about!

Honestly nothing. The Covid curfew situation at 10pm was unfortunate, but that had nothing to do with the hotel. It was very entertaining to watch the police chasing curfew-defiers in the street below though.

I was only here for one night. I was very pleased with this hotel and would highly recommend it. The location is perfect, convenient for everything with taxis outside for easy trip to the airport. Every part I saw was spectacularly clean, I've rarely been anywhere so spotless. It is obvious that they are making a real effort in covid prevention. It's an old hotel but has been tastefully 'freshened'. The continental breakfast was very good, served in a lovely rooftop room. Any staff I met were extremely pleasant and helpful.
