Hotel Agua Azul - Adults Only

I have stayed at this hotel previously so already had high expectations. Our visit over Christmas and New Year did not disappoint. The food including the gala dinner was excellent and the majority of the staff went over and beyond to ensure that we enjoyed our stay, notable members of the team were Pilar and Moniker on reception and Eric, Salva and Irene in hospitality.

Some of the waiting staff were a little abrupt and on a couple of occasions it was clear that there had been some disagreement between them with their negative attitude being obvious to the diners. The chef on the show cooking used the same cooking plate and utensils to cook the meat alongside the fish without cleaning either and so this may be a problem for some.

Been a few time now, and always been happy with it , the staff are great everyone reception,bar staff cleaners,room very comfy got a fridge and a safe , food I was happy with plenty choices, location near to everything you could want .can’t wait to come back .

Not to keen on the glass panels in the room separating the sink and the toilet kept walking into them at night .

Smart, clean hotel. Food and drink were excellent. Facilities were good all round. Beer was good and wine was lovely. Rooms were a good size, comfy beds and well decorated. Building was well positioned for sun bathing all day.

Water in the pool was freezing cold but that could be down to the global energy crisis.

lovely modern hotel with a great location for the old town and new the new town is about 15 minutes walk. reception staff were really helpful and friendly

set in the old town away from traffic noise but quick walk to the beach

sun loungers had towels on them from 6am even though the signs clearly stated this shouldn’t be happening

The food is excellent, both in choice and quality. The staff from check in to check out were helpful, professional and most of all fun and engaging, they felt like friends by the end of the holiday! Despite some comments left in earlier reviews, there were plenty of sunbeds available at most times of the day and all of the guests were respectful of each other without any problems. Lovely touch with one day a saxophonist playing around the pool and another day a duo singing summer tunes during cocktail-o'clock!!

The noise from the building works at the front of the hotel were an annoyance at times but joining in the aqua aerobics with the high energy music seemed to distract from the drilling nicely!!

it’s is very central for the old town and new town only a few minutes from the beach. No noisy bar in the area allowing a more restful atmosphere

I cannot say I didn’t like anything about the property

Great central location. Comfortable and clean air conditioned accommodation. Excellent breakfast buffet. Good poolside amenities and bar. Friendly and professional staff.

The open plan nature of the bathroom area, but that’s only a minor point of personal preference.
